It works great, except the screws fall out due to vibration over time. It's easy to lose them on the job site too.

I wanted something to gently vibrate some polymeric sand into pavers. A big vibrating compactor would just wreak too much havoc on this patio project, but this little device gets the sand in better than sweeping (or my old trick of banging on a piece of wood with a rubber mallet, which wears my arm out).

Used to vibrate paver bricks in walkway to set sand in joints. Performed well. Liked the switch to keep the unit on, but beware that it may be difficult to switch off if you shake your hand to a weakened state. Anyway, to use this tool effectively you have to put some weight through your hand to the target, which limits the vibration of the hand.
