Very solid, heavy frame with multiple jets for the propane. Puts out a LOT of BTU's (heat)! (I believe I could melt my wok if I turned it up all the way). I originally thought maybe having the flow control at the tank would be a problem, but it actually works well.

Using this for the first time reminded me of the first experience I had back when I learned to cook on a wok. I had the fire so hot that when I added the oil it had caught on fire. You will need to find that right setting. Make sure you have all your ingredients ready and be sure not to overcrowd when cooking. One thing I’ve noticed is if you have the flame on low, orange color, will leave a layer of soot on the bottom surface. Other than that, this burner is the closest to restaurant quality and functionality. Highly recommended.

It has high heat which is great for cooking in a Wok. However, you can't cook on low heat at all for anything else or in a regular frying pan. I had to turn the flame off to control the heat.

There's not much to say about the stoutness and quality of this unit. It's virtually indestructible. The only downside is that it's TOO hot, so I used a grate and risers and lifted the pan surface about 1.5". Hands down, the best part of this unit is the ability to cook outside year round. Literally anything greasy, splattery, or smokey gets cooked on this thing and it's saved so much time eliminating kitchen mess, and there is no cooking smell lingering for days. 10/10

Super ease of use and setup. It's a solid weight for it's size and I end up putting it right onto my grill when cooking outdoors, and it provides a nice stable platform to cook off of.I was worried that it would be underpowered but it puts out a ton of heat and brings my wok up to temp in short order. The first time you fire this up I would let it burn off whatever coating they put on it for shipping before you cook on it.I use this with a carbon steel wok, and you can achieve great wok hei using this. Just be mindful because at full blast it can be too hot. Once you figure out the amount of heat you need, you'll be able to make fried rice good enough for Uncle Roger.

I had been wanting an outdoor wok burner for awhile as my home stove can get nowhere near hot enough. Well this little burner can definitely do it. I cooked all summer long outdoors with it and it worked as it should. Deep frying, fried rice, pad see yew, blistered green beans. It gets hot! Like real smokin hot! Burners are good the base is stable. I also use it to light my coals in my charcoal chimney for a quick go.

It’s great for my at-home wok setup. At 45,000 BTU it’s good to go on a 20lb propane tank for 14 hours I believe. Nice and sturdy, and does what I need it to. Great flame as well. Real good value for money too.
