The assembly instructions were good and helpful but it does require two people. We are already using it for composting.

This is a great product! It took a little work to get it put together, but not too difficult. It is sturdy, spins smoothly, has easy doors, and I consider it to be a good value.

I''m nominating the designer of this product to the "Mail Order Assembly Engineer's Hall of Fame!" To be sure, you will need to set aside a good hour to get this all put together. But the instructions are crystal clear; all of the parts are present, well-labeled, and fit easily together; it is heavy duty and has structural redundancies built in; it is highly functional; it looks great; and by all appearances it ought to last for at least a couple of decades. For whatever it is worth, I chose the two-bin model because it allows one of the chambers to finish composting while the other chamber is just beginning its journey. I know this sounds silly, but I can't wait to start composting!

After almost burning our house down with an electric composter we decided for something a bit more manual. This is very easy to put together and is working very well. It also will not burn your house down.

This review is written after a week of use and so far overall it was a good purchase. It can hold quite a bit in each of its two chambers, each one is easy to spin independently or it comes with a plastic plate to attach them for a united spin, and the assembly instructions are fairly clear even though the instructions don't actually refer to the labeled part letters. You need a good amount of hand strength to snap the joint pieces together and I recommend an electric screwdriver over the included paint key-looking one. Looking forward to seeing how it wears overtime, and how quickly it can turn pet waste into usable compost (on inedible vegetation.)

I really like the tumbler, it made composting so much easier than the traditional way. Spinning the barrel is much easier and cleaner than flipping with a shovel and mixing. Seems to be doing well and breaking compost down fast. My only issues are it’s kind of hard to spin the barrel once it’s about 1/2 full and sometimes it packs into the bottom so it takes a few extra spins to get it mixed well and there was sooo many screws to assemble. But it holds a good amount, the doors open easily and you can choose to use one side or both. Same with spinning you can spin both at once or one at a time. Definitely worth the time and money. Not sure how easy getting the compost out will be, the opening is pretty small but I haven’t tried it yet.
