My 2N would stall on slight inclines due to the plastic float being too light. Some carburetors need the heavier float. If you have a plastic float, replace it with this.

The reproduction aluminum carburetors sold on here and ebay are fine. The only issue with them is that they have a plastic float and it will often cut off fuel when going forward uphill (reverse has no issues). This float is the fix. If you don't have your original carburetor around to borrow the float from it or you just need a replacement for your original carburetor, this is the answer. It works great and is built as good as any original
