These guide plates are 1/16" thick stamped steel with "turn downs" where the pushrod will ride. While the picture is an accurate representation, there is nothing in the description to indicate thickness. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for most, and there is nothing wrong with these guide plates. Unfortunately I had to return them due to needing .125" thick material for my particular build.
