Our sockets also have the unique feature of a provision to hold our degree wheels or any wheel with a 1 inch or larger center hole. The knurled retaining nut actually sandwiches the degree wheel and holds it in place. This can then be loosened while on the crank snout so that you can turn the degree wheel independent of the engine, which is really handy when finding TDC.

Bought for a Ford 5.4 keyway was a bit to narrow but nothing a file couldn't fix.

I love the tool, but I don’t like the price. Made degree-ing the camshaft very easy on my small block chevy 350. Worth it if you plan on using it more than once. Can’t imagine degree-ing the cam without it.

The first one I purchased cracked along the keyway but the tool was replaced with no hassle and the tool worked as intended.

So just so everyone understands, you use this tool to turn the crankshaft over when you don’t have a balancer on. It has a threaded end to a fix a timing wheel too. So it’s a nice tool for even a professional mechanic. It’s top notch

nice degree wheel socket, a nick on the crank key will make the tool hard to get install and remove
