This is my go to leash because it's light and thin. Previous leashes have separated at the swivel. It's to be expected after extended use over time. The swivel in the past were brass. This new leash appears to be steel and treated somehow against rust. I'm guessing that this one should last a long long time.

I absolutely love the tangle free leash and will never buy one that isn’t after using these. Does the tech work? I always say if it keeps me from missing a set because of it getting tangled, then worth the extra money. I have noticed a $15 increase in price since I’ve been using them. I ordered the comp leash by mistake but would have cost $ to send back so I gave it a try. Love the comp! Very light and even the cuff and leash attachment are lighter verse the reg thickness leashes. I wouldn’t use in heavy surf though. Head high or more - I wouldn’t try it!

100% worth it. Works as described. Also way lighter than traditional leash. My leash irritated me so much but I don’t want to go no leash just in case. This instantly felt better and no snags on first 2 uses.

I love that it is comp weight leash for a longboard! I have never found one before.I haven't used it yet, but I am excited to try it. The leash looks awesome.It is pricey, but my old longboard leash was a tangled mess and drove me crazy. It literally was an accident waiting to happen. Hoping this leash does what it says it will do! If it does, it is worth the cost!Update: Best longboard leash I have ever owned. I literally forget I am wearing it and I really hate longboard leashes. Would I count on it in a burly double overhead day? No. But I wouldn't be on a longboard. Would I count on it for 99 percent of the time I am longboarding- yup! Seriously worth the investment. Never tangled. Very light. Never came back in my face.Additional Update: I have ordered two for my shortboards as well. Once you have a tangle free leash, all others feel awful. One weird thing- when you first get it the velcro is insane. As in, if you need to release it in the water for a weird emergency- forget it. After about the 3rd use it is normal.

Excellent leash! Very comfortable and it's truly tangle free. I'll buy a second one for a friend of mine that lives in Costa Rica and can't buy it over there. A really good product.

I though the weight was a gimmick until I tried it. It really works. I have never had my leash end up wrapped around my ankles or stuck between my toes since I switched to this style of leash. I bought one of these XMs for all of my boards and gave away all my old leashes. Never looking back!

Great leash definitely helps keep the leash out from under your feet. This is my second one. The first one lasted over 5 yrs but was not used constantly.

Great leash, no issues with tangling anymore. I’m glad I gave it a try. It’s also tinnier than a regular one: another way to reduce the drag.
