Just set the time and the amount of power. Best example of less Is more. 2 rotary knobs and ONLY 1 LITTLE DING when done. On my old one, I would stand there to keep it from beep beep beep beep beeping. This one is civilized with only 2 ding.The other great thing is not using too much power causing explosions in the microwave. My old microwave over did everything and I had to clean the inside all the time. Now it stays clean. It is a 900 watt and my old obe was 1000. I mostly use the Mediun setting and 1 to 2 minutes for almost everything.*** the knobs are hard to read so I put a small, Thin Tape to point to the power. I Also put a broccoli rubberband on the timer to improve the grip. A regret is that the light turns off with the timer and not with the door closing. Small livable differences for much less explosion cleanups. Over all... love it and the smaller glass turntable seems just right and so much easier than the bigger size I don't seem to use the higher power settings at all.

We have had this microwave for 11days and used it only about 6 times. Today while reheating a plate of food it started smoking of burnt plastic from inside the motor area. Black smoke quickly filled kitchen. Thank goodness I was right there to extinguish it. Fire blankets work and water cooled it off. Be careful it is dangerous

Perfect size for 1 person. Fits TV dinners with an 8 inch round plastic vented lid I use to protect against splatter. Heats very well. After halfway, I stir a few times & resume heating & all evenly hot. Love the ease of turning the dials instead of figuring out buttons or having to get eyeglasses and turn on kitchen light to see which button to press. The dials are intuitive. Further to the right, hotter temp & longer time. Boom! Best of all are (1) the handle so the microwave doesn't slide around since don't have to push the door to open, (2) light only on when cooking so can leave open to air out, (3) adorably cheerful bell when finished cooking instead of annoying beeps like other microwaves, (4) such a great price & (5) compact size easy to lift & clean under and behind. Pour des raisons que j'ignore les pattes sont en plastiques quand il serait si simple de mettre du caoutchouc et il serait stable. Fonctionne très bien.

Mom needed a microwave that was easy to use so jsut having the 2 rotary dials (temp and time) is perfect for her. The only issue is- it is very hard to see the font- espcially if you are marketing to seniors- should be bigger more contrasty

I love how you can adjust power or time any way you like while it's running, which makes it a little more like using a range, but more efficient. It's not precise for times I often don't use defrost or reheat settings on other microwaves that have buttons because it prompts for more numbers for quantity/weight or something, which are meaningless and stupid, and give me very little control over the results. Many times they don't accept the numbers I punched in, and then "microwave says no". With this microwave, just turn a knob and, VOILA, it turns on.Like the range, you are more engaged in the cooking process because you're in complete control. Unlike the range, though, it automatically shuts off. So for some common cooking tasks, you can set it and forget it. When reheating a meal for 1, I just always use the medium high setting for ~3 minutes. The results are pretty consistent.

Je l'ai commandé parce que j'avais besoin d'un petit micro onde. Il fonctionne très bien parcontre, sa manque de précision lorsqu'on tourne le bouton...tres difficile de savoir si c'est 2 minutes , 2,5 minutes vraiment pas claire.

I got this microwave for my garage when I am out there and want to heat something up. Plus I needed one that was easy to use since my vision is so bad. So this microwave having the turn knob for the timer and the heating level was perfect. Everything on it is built solidly and it works very well.I’ve only used it for a few different things so far, but it’s been more than adequate for everything. I threw a couple rice, bean, cheese burritos in there, and those suckers came out super hot. My Thanksgiving leftovers came out consistently heated all the way through. There was one review that said they were not able to pop microwave popcorn with theirs, mine has no problem whatsoever. With everything I’ve used it for so far, it has easily passed the test.

Have had it maybe a year? Would I buy it again. Yes. But there are some things I do, and do not like about it.What I like about it. Food cooks well in it.1. Like turning a knob to power lever, and not have to choose power level each time. Sometimes, like warm up we use med power.2. If wanting to cook longer, and it has more time to go, it starts back up when door closed.3. Like not having to punch a bunch of numbers to start cooking something.4. Takes a bit to learn about where the settings are. I only use set power an time. So for me being a senior citizen, that is good.3. It doesn't take up a lot of room. not real tall. Black one looks nice.What I do not like.1. Loud2. Have to have flash light to read minute numbers. They are small and dark. One can get use to just turning the knob to a certain spot, and know it is where you usually put if for reheat. But to cook something and want to see numbers have to use light to see. Family also say same thing.3. Light goes off when door open, so have to take food out to check. or have a light shinning in the mw to see if done, if something that can be checked by sight.4. I forget many times to turn to off, if more time is on it, and I am finished, but do like it starts back up automatically, if I want to cook more.5. If we accidentally somehow turn on the child safety setting, it takes our son to figure out how to get it off that setting. But is really nice if one has young ones.6. Can turn the buzzer off, like on some, but it is not super loud.
