As expected from this brand, these are easy to use, hold well and are easy to remove.

I love anything command strip. They are very strong and depending on which kind of strip you get, it can carry a lot of weight without any damage to your walls. They work really well. This particular one worked exactly how I needed it to. They are clear so they aren’t as easy to spot hanging things on them. Which is more aesthetically pleasing.

I usually swear by command strips so I was excited to use these outside for new string lights. I have a PVC fence (which falls under their approved smooth outdoor surface list) and cleaned the entire area really well and followed all of the instructions for application, pressing each clip firmly to the fence for at least 30 seconds. It says to wait an hour before hanging anything and with the sun setting, I waited an extra 13 hours to hang the lights and less than a minute after the strings were up, each hook popped off the fence like toppling dominos. I understand it’s humid and can be dewy in the morning but if they state the product is water-resistant and will hold up in the rain, I don’t understand how a foggy morning is command kryptonite.***I’m not a meteorologist or a weather man so I could be the problem having had faith in these things holding up in a tropical climate.

They cost more, but are worth every penny. I use them to assist to with outdoor Christmas lights. I've tried a lot of stuff, but these are by far the best among them all. Plus, I use a glue gun instead of the strips they come with and if one come loose, I can simply "hot glue" it back.

I waited until after the holidays to write this review to make sure they stayed up, and I can't guarantee it will work for everyone, but I put these clips up on the brick on the front of my house around the arches, thinking every day I'd get up and find the lights on the ground, but they never fell. They stayed up through rain, wind, snow and cold (I live in SE Michigan). I put them up in early/mid-November and just took the lights down a couple weeks into January. I took the clips down from the vinyl parts around the garage, but I'm leaving the ones up on the brick (it's light tan brick, you can't really see them), just to see if they actually stay up until next year. I didn't see brick listed as a surface these would stick to when I bought them and wasn't sure they'd be the right solution for me when I decided to try them, so I thought I would just offer the information that if you're looking for a solution to put lights up on brick, these might be worth a try, they worked for me. I should also probably mention that I used them to put Christmas lights up on the shed in the backyard and they also stayed put on painted wood. I can't say enough how impressed I am with this product.

I have always loved Command Strips and use them for everything. However, I’m not sure if they’ve recently changed the formula or what, but the last 3 or 4 times I’ve purchased them I’ve had several in each package just not be sticky at all. In this instance, I kept having the same problem in the same spot, and as you can see from the photo, I was NOT hanging anything even remotely heavy with them. It turned out that because I was hanging something in an above the fireplace alcove, it was slightly warm and humid in the space and they just REFUSED to stick. I eventually used a fan as I applied them to those spots and it did the trick. But I have been using them in this part of the country for the last 7 years and never had this problem until recently, no matter the weather (I haven’t even TRIED using them outside yet), so I really do feel like the quality of the product has just gone down. Sadly I think I will be trying an off-brand next time.

DO NOT BUY! Only 1 of the 4 packs delivered. Ordered replacement, and only 1 pack deliverer the second time. Had to return both separate packs for a refund. Not paying that much just for 1 pack.

I used these to hang patio lights on a metal railing. At first I just put all the clips on every couple feet and thought it was as easy as that. But once I hung up the lights, I realized that they wouldn't hang tight and the bulbs would bang against the railing when it was windy and break. So I had to order another 20 pack and totally redo it.If you are hanging yours tight as well, look at my first photo for reference of how to hang them! FIRST put the Command strip on the plastic hook and trim excess, then put the light string on it (I put the hook right before the light and that kept them very tight and unable to move in the wind), and LASTLY stick it to the spot you want it in. I did this all the way along my patio and now from the front I don't have to look at the light cord and they don't move. I cut off the excess sticky part so that it would look clean once I realized that the pull strip doesn't work if I want to get them off anyways (you can easily move them if you mess up at first but after a few hours they stuck to that metal hard and I had to use scissors pry the ones I messed up on off). I am curious to see if they'll survive a Colorado winter but good for now!

I use these for hanging indoor Christmas lights on the walls. I've had a few of the same clips installed since last Christmas and every one of them has stayed stuck since then. They are clear so they are low profile on the wall, and not an eyesore to keep up all year round. I bought more this year to expand the number of lights and they've been the same high quality clips. Easy to remove, and there's enough sticky strips to reposition all hooks up to 3 times.
