This mic is one of, if not THE GREATEST wireless mics. I have been using it for under a year on over 100+ commercial/documentary projects and have yet to see any flaws in this mic. It has great directional isolation(does a great job at limiting the amount of noise it picks up on the sides), the battery is reliable and has never died on me on a project(use it for 1-3 hours at a time), and the sound quality of this mic is outstanding for the price.Con: While the mic is amazing, the camera hot-shoe shock mount is pretty brittle. I broke it within the first month of owning it. If this could be strengthened/beefed up, then this wouldn't be an issue. Just keep that in mind when using it. Be gentle when mounting it to your camera.

I use this in my Alien Drones youtube studio for the last few months and once I got the gain dialed in I'm really happy with the sound quality. I love that it turns on and off automatically when a camera is connected so I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. I have charged it once and have done about 7 or 8 videos and it still shows full charge. A rare deal with decent quality and it looks professional to boot...

This is a great option if you are looking for a shotgun for your video gear. The shotgun comes in a very nice package with compartments for each piece. The wireless receiver connects instantaneously to the shotgun. It comes with a nice windscreen to remove some of the background noice as well asa windmuf for outside shots. The great thing about this shotgun is that you can place the receiver on your camera or recorder and the shotgun on a different place without the need to run cables (perfect for boom poles). The sound quality is pretty great. I haven't run out of battery yet, so I am not sure exactly how long it is going to last. Overall, a great addition to your gear with the plus that it is wireless.

I haven’t seen anyone else say this, so I know mine was just broken and that’s all. But there was something loose inside that you can hear rattling around and it’s really loud in the recorded audio. I’m excited to own the mic and all but now I have to wait even longer to use it as I wait for it to get returned, which Amazon says could take 30 days and THEN have to re buy it in the hopes it doesn’t happen again. Have a lot of big projects coming so this is just kinda disappointing.

When running or even brushing against the mic body when in use you will hear audible noises. Muffling, tapping, vibration type sounds. keep this in mind and try not to move if possible. The overall quality is good with a large range of gain that offers great performance with little hiss. Except at the end stages ware audible hiss and electro distortion can be quite audible. Great directional microphone I film movies it picks up great clean sound I really recommend it!

Shotgun mics are nothing new, however what is special here is the wireless. You can have the receiver on your camera and the mic can be somewhere else. This can be super useful for run and guy audio and documentary film making or interview style shooting where you want the camera and mic to be in different places for better audio but you don't want cables running across the floor. The sound quality is really nice and it is super simple to use. Good product for when you want the flexibility to go without wires.

This review is for the comica CVM-VM30 2.4G Super Cardioid Condenser Wireless Shotgun Microphone, completed in May of 2024.This kit is a great addition to my gear. Comes with the mic, a vibration dampening mount for your cold shoe, a mount for a boom, and a receiver that you can use when you put the mic remote. You have a foam wind guard and a dead cat mic cover plus all the cords I could ever think about using. All of that in a stylish case to keep you organized and your gear protected.Sound quality was as good as any mic I've ever used and I am always very excited to put this onto my camera and start shooting. I know the sound quality will be there and it just works. I have zero complaints and would strongly recommend this to anyone who needs a mic for on camera and on a boom. My only suggestion would be to allow your wireless mics to transmit back to the same receiver. Then you can switch between the hard mounted mic option and the wireless mics with a quick adjustment to your receiver.Top tier gear here. Easy 5 stars.

Ce micro est meilleur que celui de mon appareil photo caméra. Certe ça crée forcément de la lourdeur en plus entre tout mais à des moments je peux le mettre sur une perche avec pied.

This shotgun is super versatile. First of all, the kit comes with so many things, including 2 windscreens, all the cables you will need, 2 different mounts and a wireless receiver. This works as both a wired mic and wireless. As a wired mic, it can be analog using a 3.5mm cable or digital using USBC. Wirelessly, its a great mic for use within reasonably close distances. Since it uses the 2.5 GHz spectrum, it is susceptible to interference from cell phones, wifi and cordless phones. However in my limited use, I had no dropouts and clean audio when used within a few feet of each other. The mic sounds fantastic. As good as my Sennheizers and the construction is solid. All metal construction, heavy build quality, Clear and simple display on the mic and battery that lasts all day. Oh, and it provides an optional 2 channel output. The first channel is what you set for level on the mic, the second channel is a safety channel and is automatically lower than the first to help prevent clipping. Great feature! The only ding this mic gets is that the receiver is VERY light weight. I have no reason to believe it will break easily, but for sure it doesnt enjoy the same build quality as the microphone. I am gentle with my gear so I dont expect it to be an issue, but they sure could have done better.There are so many good qualities that is difficult to find my favorite, other than say the price. There is no other mic which offers all these features, this build quality at this cost.Great mic!
