Awesome stool. Solid, lightweight, stable, good seat. Should work great. Didn't like the mesh bag it came with as the legs would jam with the mesh when inserting so I bought a small tripod carrying case that works much better and gives a little room for other items.

Nice chair, I use it in my Sprinter campervan to work from the high kitchen countertop. It could be comfortable in any applications, light to carry, and sturdy.

Best product I’ve ever bought for travel. I struggle with standing for long periods of time and this stool enables me to participate in walking tours when on vacation. The stool is light weight, sturdy, even on European cobblestones! So many people have commented on how they wished they had one.

If you're buying this for travel, go ahead. It will travel with you easily.I fly RC planes and due to my hips, can't stand for long periods. This is easily carried to the flight line and is comfortable to sit in while I fly. This has been a huge help in keeping me flying and making it an enjoyable experience. A bit pricey, but it's worth every penny.

I have a hard time finding products that cater to a tall person in the 250+ category, this product quotes it can hold over 500+ and I fully believe it!! Rock steady! Advertising quotes it can be used with the legs not extended, haven't figured that balance out, but extended it is perfect for my 6 foot plus stature and relatively compact when closed.

I’ve been standing in some long lines lately and didn’t want to drag a big lawn chair with me. Now I just grab my stool and sling it over my shoulder and go. When I get tired of standing I whip out the stool, pull out the legs, and take a load off. Very easy to fold up and carry when I need too. Typically, I answer e-mail and do other tasks on my iPad while sitting on the stool while in line. Very stable on flat surfaces, no wobbling. I also just found a new use for my stool. I needed to fix the spring closer on my gate. I sat down on my stool and finished the job easily without bending over or getting on my knees. This is an extremely well made chair. I appreciate being able to get a stool that works for a six footer. I sit comfortably,at a great height, and don’t feel like I’m squatting on the ground. If I’m in line next to a wall I back up the chair right up to the wall and lean on the wall, it’s like having a chair back. It is pricey compared to the cheap discount camping stools, but you get your money’s worth with the Walkstool!

Comunque ottimo.

I play flute and sax in a couple bands and use this to sit on. At first it was a little wobbly, but I got used to it and am comfortable after three hours of sitting. I appreciate that the seat doesn't stick out past my hip leaving plenty of space for my tenor sax beside me. Outdoors on the ground or on a carpet it stays in place, but on a hardwood or slick floor it tents to "walk" around when I squirm. I've grown accustom to it's peculiarities and what I at first considered weak points I've now adapted to. Like learning to ride a bike. I got the 26" version for my 5'6" frame because I didn't want to be as low as a chair (18") would put me. This 26" stool, like a hammock sags a couple inches. Because of this I have to 'get up onto it' as opposed to sitting down onto it. Once on the stool with both feet on the floor, knees slightly bent, it is sturdy and stable. The first time I extended the legs I pulled to quickly and the button that pops into the lock hole went right past and the leg came out. That hasn't happened again. Like most people reading these reviews, I read many. Though I think the price is a little ridiculous I found nothing else that comes near it's light weight, small (when folded) and comfortable design. I gave didn't give it 5 stars because of the price. Thanks for reading.

74 years old, bad legs and on oxygen, I need something to sit on in places that require much walking. This stool seems pretty sturdy. It does leave me with a bit of a tippy feeling but hasn't thrown me off yet. Perhaps a shorter model would have been a better choice however. I have not figured out how to hang this on my belt while walking as advertised? The bag it folds into needs a belt loop sewen to it. All it has is a long skinny drawstring. As soon as I get a good walk with it I will write more. It's not something I would have bought had I saw and handled it prior to purchase. On the other hand it is hard to build something as sturdy as I need and still make it compact and light to carry! It may be just the ticket once I sew a belt loop on it.
