Very cute and durable ice skating dress.Beautiful color, my daughter loves how it fit and wears it on ice and off ice. Good for competition or test session. Size small fit great my 7 years old skater.

This skate dress is nice and comes with a matching scrunchie. It has a mesh top and sleeves and the body is a colorful printed velvet. The colors of the printed velvet are very vibrant and they look great. My daughter loves the way it looks. The dress would be appropriate for a skate show or a skating competition. The edging on the skirt is just a simple serged edge and the stitching on the cuffs of the sleeves leaves a bit to be desired. The dress isn't as nice as some of the velvet and mesh Mondor skate dresses we have that were a similar price point. So if quality and and detail for finished edges matter to you, Mondor would be your better bet. The size range for this wasn't clear when ordering. In one area it said a small was a 5-7 and in another areas it was listed as a 5-6. We went with the 8-10 since my daughter is wearing size 7 and some of her skate dresses that go up to size 7 are already too snug on her. The sleeves on this dress are a bit long on her and the body is a little wide even though length wise it fits her well. The dress has some stretch to it. I've attached photos of my daughter wearing the dress. It should fit her well in another year. Given that the dress has a scoop back and mesh top, I would not classify this as a practice dress. It's best suited for shows or competition.
