Great paints! We had a great time with our grandson painting bottles and vases we had sitting around. The paint goes a long way so we can have many more painting sessions.

I bought this paint to use on clear plastic Christmas bulbs, but unfortunately, the paint flaked off the plastic. However, when we used it on glass jars, the paint stayed much more permanent and didn’t flake. It covered the glass well, and the light still shines through beautifully. The pack came with a wide variety of colors, which made our projects even more diverse. We’ve had it for 6 months, and it hasn’t dried out at all. Overall, it works great on glass surfaces!

The color selections are great and the consistency is good, but if you are looking for glass paint that gives the appearance of stained glass, this product is not what you are looking for. This paint dries opaque, NOT at all clear. They are great for painting designs on tableware, etc, where light shines on them, but since the paints don’t dry clear, the depth of the colors do not translate when light tries to shine through them.

I have used these paints to paint my storefront windows. The paint is good quality and when I have my windows washed, it does not come off! Good product.

I got illuminated gingerbread folks and let members of fam to design their's on paper, then i transferred their designs onto illuminated versions using this paint. I sanded the areas i was going to paint, painted, then coated w clear to proect from the weather. The colors went on smoothly and looked perfect when illuminated. Great fun!

I used the paint straight from the tubes applying with the provided paint brushes to paint Oui yogurt jars to make tea light candle holders. The paint worked well. I painted the design on the outside and then painted a solid color on the inside to keep the outside shiny from the glass (don't do this if anyone is going to drink/eat from your containers). If I messed up, I used rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to remove the paint (easier with wet paint but will work on dry, too). The silver paint made the best inner color as it was a good translucency and kind of "glowed" with light. The results you produce are just limited by your skill and creativity. Consider not painting behind a design as you want a glow through just your paint and not the muddiness of two colors. My tea light holders looked best in the dark while illuminated, but are cute all the time. It was a bit challenging not to get "lines" painting the inside of a concave surface and some colors are of a thicker or thinner consistency. I generally needed to paint a surface at least twice (paint, dry, paint again). You can use a q-tip to remove wet paint to create a design also. Have fun!
