If you are looking for a few nice long rooster feathers for a project, these feathers will probably do for the inespensive cost at the time of this review. The feathers in this set that were good (about half of them) are very nice feathers with interesting and pretty curves. Most of the feathers were predominately black with nice bright colors at the bottom. The problem with this set is that about half of the feathers are in poor shape. They are broken or tattered or have a bald quill in places. You get a lot of feathers, so you do still get some nice feathers even though some are wrecked.

I got these feathers to make some fun collar style necklaces and/or to decorate clothing. The feathers I got don't look what is pictured, however. None of them are dark with a little color at the bottom, the color is throughout the whole feather. So I've got a bunch of brightly colored feathers, which is great if that's what you want. They'd be great for some kind of kids project, but not for what I had in mind. The price is great for the amount you get, though.
