I purchased this item for my grandkids to make bathtime more fun and it did. Not only is it educational watching the colors change, we also talked about the types of sea creatures included in the set.

My kids took to this immediately due the large variety of sea creatures. They picked their favorite ones and started trading them like sports cards. The book is very cool dry vs. wet once its gets wet. I will say it took awhile for the creatures to color change but I found out that the water needs to be hotter than normal. My kids dont like the bath water that hot so theres a line there. I think maybe it was because the creatures were brand new and needed to acclimate to the water also but i think the water needs to be warmer than normal for it to work. but then later after the water cooled they still color changed so i think it just depends on the water temp. but theyre great and they love them. we got rid of the old bath toys and now these are the bees knees.

These are very cute, and the colors change significantly and vibrantly. The cute book pictures change colors also. Our 5-year-old and 17-month-old enjoy playing with them. We keep an eye on the younger one to be sure she doesn't bite and pull on the fish. They have a rubbery, stretchy feeling and could break apart if stretched too far. The eyes on the sting ray were pulled off by the 5-year-old but would still buy these again as a gift for a child over 3 years old.

I like the size, no water retention, easy to clean, mold resistant, have lasted months, none have broken or fell apart and we have had these toys for months. Definitely worth the value. The color change is neat! My boys like them.

My daughter had so much fun with these color changing fish, she played for 2 hours in the bath with these. They are great quality and we love the material they are made out of. There was a huge selection of different aquatic animals that had different color changing properties, red to white. Black to orange, green to yellow etc. So much fun it was great to use the book to which when warm water is poured on the images. Definitely a win in our house!

bought these for my 3 yo grandson and he absolutely can't wait to get here to play with them. When they get wet, they change colors and they are nice and squishy. highly recommend them.
