I used these to install some trim outside. Unfortunately I couldn't prevent them from getting lightly rained on. The next morning, there were rust stains on the trim at the tips of every single clamp and a few other spots on the clamps that were also rusted. I guess that's to be expected since they aren't stainless.

For a newbie to a professional level these are AWESOME! The extra set of hands needed when glueing up and fastening moulding. Just be mindful to tack your pieces as soon as you can because with the glue still wet, the pieces may shift a bit before it fully dries. I have found if I glue up my ends, use these to hold together, I can manipulate my pieces to a perferct alignment, tack, and done.They are a great extra set of hands....

This makes it look like I know what I am doing for a tight 45. I first saw my contractor using them for some trim. I had to get my own set these are a game changer for woodworking. I have used them for various projects around the house and no more issues gluing up my 45's.

One of the greatest addition to my tool box.These clamps have great holding power while you glue up the joint.If you are doing casing work, you could pre assemble window or door trim, put it on the wall and tack into place and then remove.These really put your quality of workmanship to the next level.

Considering all other options to buy similar, this was the best bang for the buck, the concept of the idea is great for mitred cuts, the down side for the money the tool itself is cheaply made, depending on how much you will use such a tool it may not hold up over time, it’s made from a cheap pop metal or aluminum. I did buy and use and it works great , but I’m still searching for a better pair of pliers that will stand up over time.

Clamps:The clamps have a very nice precision ground conical point. It's clear they weren't just clipped with the hopes the leftover point would be sharp enough to grab the material. These are deliberately shaped.The spring action is strong. You can open the clamps yourself but they work best with the pliers.Pliers:The pliers use a light weight spring to force them closed to make it easy to insert a clamp. The spring has a nice light-weight action that doesn't add extra resistance to that already caused by the spring clamps. It's ergonomic and easy to use.

These things really work super quick and easy to clamp up miters. This is a delightful tool set to use, it almost effortlessly solves a problem that you can barely solve any other way. I used it to to glue up some solid white oak millwork that had mitered edges up to 8' long. That was an intimidating project for me, and I got good results on my first attempt with these clamps.

baught these for help holding picture frame corners together and they really do work, even used them for doing skirting boards and they were brilliant, tad pricy through.
