its one of those items you don't know you need because they dont sell it at a common hardware store. Strong adhesive and no more excessive water creep from under the swinging door

I purposely got this seal because it showed 2 glue strips. But the item sent only has one. In my case, I want to seal the edge from the bathtub to the glass door that has a gap. Water is constantly causing a flood. Knowing that no seal is perfect, I don't want to use glue, with might hamper the removal, if I have to do so.(picture 1 is the product received, picture 2 is the product on their site) .

I installed this self adhesive water strip barrier in the shower of our house to stop the water from overflowing when we take a shower and it is working for us tremendously as we do not have to worry about wet floor all over our bathroom.I added extra glue to the tape for a maximum adhesion as it is very flexible and easy to cut with scissors for the desired length to protect the overflow of water from the shower stall to the bathroom floor.

Application was super easy. I had already cleaned the area I was going to apply the strip. The length I got (67 inches) was great for my tub, even had about 6 inches or so left over. Even straight out of the box, it didn't curl. I just put it against the surface of the tub and floor peeled off a little bit of the adhesive backing and started pushing firmly while I applied. Got a tight seal only with the adhesive backing, but they also give you a tube of waterproof sealant. Even better the sealant is clear! So no need to worry about applying it perfectly - which was great for me. The first line was close to perfect, but as one does, I went back over for some extra assurance and that time got a little messy.I also found out my floor is not perfectly level, so there were a few gaps along the bottom - I filled those in with the clear sealant. The strip itself is pretty thick, even for its pliability, way better than what was previously there. I got this specifically for my tub, but could see uses in multiple places. $20 and well worth it.

Used as a water stopper for a handicapped shower. It does its job and was easy to install.
