I was amazed! I purchased a “used” Coleman lantern case. I couldn’t any evidence of use. Great buy! Thanks Amazon.

It fits right over the lantern and protects it from damage. The handle on top allows it to be carried on camping trips. Works well.

Pagata 11.47€

I don't understand what all the fuss and disappointment is about. I've used these cases for my Coleman lanterns for 20+ years and have never had one fall out on me. The design hasn't changed and the quality remains the same as my first one. I buy a case for each of my lanterns because they provide the perfect amount of protection while not taking up too much extra space.I think it might be tricky for some, as the ball nut needs to align with the recess in the top of the case for the cover to fully seat all the way down on the base. This needs to happen for the case to latch properly and you can't see what's going on inside while doing it so maybe that's the issue. And the case will NOT latch on it's own; there are nubs on the bottom of the bumps that protrude through the cover. Once seated properly, the sides of the cover will snap over these nubs when pushed inwards, and it will not come apart once snapped into place. Even rough handling will not pop the sides open. If this is hard to picture from my description, try doing this without the lantern in place and it will easily latch properly and securely.I think for those that had their lantern fall out did not have it latched properly. It could probably hold 30 lbs or more in there without a problem. Once the design is understood it will instill confidence. I've hiked steep trails up and down while carrying the lantern case by the handle and have never felt the need to add a safety rope or tape to hold the bottom in.The case will protect the lantern more than a cardboard box, and it is pretty much rainproof. By design, falling rainwater cannot get into the case if it is sitting upright. But it is not shockproof and provides no cushioning. So pack your lantern in your 4x4 with care and it will be fine but you can't throw it or run it over and expect protection. And you can't put your lantern in the case while it is still hot, lol. Common sense folks, the latern uses fire and your brand new case is plastic.

This fits my Coleman DualFuel Powerhouse lantern (the grey one you can get pretty much anywhere, REI, Amazon, etc.) perfectly. Do note that it doesn't fit the propane (green canister) version. It includes some space underneath the fuel tank of the lantern to store things like a bic lighter, or a box of matches, or spare mantles (recommended!).The latches on the side are probably the weakest point of the design. You pop the lid over a little bump on the bottom section as a "latch". I don't know, it just seems like the plastic will wear out there pretty quickly after opening and closing it a bunch of times - plus, it's where the weight of the lantern is transferred into the carry handle. Just seems like a single point of failure. Also, considering it's just one piece of blow molded plastic attached to a piece of injection molded plastic, they are asking an awful lot of money for it.

ツーマントル925用に買いました。ランタンの重量で上のカバーとしたのケースを掛ける爪のところに不安があるので、100均のベルトで巻いて不安解消!ガラスが割れる心配する事なく、運ぶのにいいです。
