This is not heavy & cuts perfectly.I cleaned out all, my weeds in flower beds. Even used it to shape some bushes. & low hanging tree branches.You will be happy if you are looking for a real sharp, all purpose tool.

The machete was meant to be used for a specific purpose and it was meant to look like the photo. It came with a dark blade. I was really disappointed and I wish they would put the photo of what you are actually getting

I bought this because I figured Coleman was a trusted quality brand. This machete, however, is so dangerously scary I'm returning it. The low quality sheath does not actually sit around the blade and there is no latching strap, so it will easily slide out while working. Then, the little belt loop thing is not solidly set so the sheath itself is liable to just fall off your belt. Worst, the blade was super dull right out of the box, not sharp at all. The blade feels flimsy and the handle is cheapo plastic.
