Wow! Don’t waste your money on any other sticker printer that you want to print in color! I bought a few different printers to do crafts with my daughters and I didn’t like any of them. I bought this as an upgrade, even though it wasn’t that much more expensive and I love it! Printer quality is top-notch. I have had no issues with connecting and printing from my cell phone and my tablet!!! That was a big issue with the other printers I had, they would they would freeze up. This one does not freeze up! I don’t write many reviews, but I felt I needed to for this device because it is so cool! It’s making the crafting easy and fun and instead of focusing on trying to work the printer we are focusing on the crafts!! Worth it!!

I had so much trouble setting this little LabelMaker/printer off. I was ready to stick it back in the box and return it. But with my Hub’s help, we got it up and running and it actually prints really nice high-quality glossy labels. I guess I’ll keep it since it literally does exactly what I needed to do. Lol.

I watched a review on youtube before buying it and the video showed a pixelated text and not great image quality. Not sure what they were doing but the one I have prints HQ text with great image quality. It is not professional portrait image quality but it is pretty great for mysterious magic paper. Recommended for the price.

I don't like writing negative reviews, but given the name behind this product and its price, I felt I should provide my honest review:1- I am returning it2- Set up on your wireless network through your mobile is easy, but it is frustrating if you want to use on your laptop. I had to give it a static IP address, otherwise, it won't work.3- Slow4- Print quality is less than average5- Colors are horrible6- Tapes are very expensive, and they don't work as cable labels; label ends don't stay stuck.7- every time you turn it off and on it will spit a blank 2" tape, just like that!8- You have to swipe your finger to cut! why this brilliant gesture, I don't know.9- Finally, it is not backed by Brother Canada, so you won't be able to register it on Brother Canada website, and now I understand why it is not there, it is a horrible product. The only one good thing about this device is its size. Small and looks good on the desk, but useless.

Well, I have used this printer for more than 3 months now. Before going further, you should look up its cartridge prices. At the time of writing, a 5m long and 1inch wide cartridge costs more than $50! That's $1 per 10 cm! Why did I buy it? It seems to be the only colour label printer available at the time. And you can print in other languages with the app. I find the quality of the labels to be mediocre. Colours are neither vivid or accurate but tolerable. The app is easy to work with but feels childish (literally feels like an app for children). Despite that it works as intended and flawless in function, I would have never bought this if it weren't for the lack of options.

I literally own at least a dozen different labelers and use one almost daily. When I saw this product I had to own it. I was hoping to print off some high res color labels. I was very disappointed with this model.I typically only use Brother's P-Touch Editor program for Windows. The software for this model is not up to par. I was trying to print a logo with some transparency and the transparency would only print white regardless of the label background color. I had to edit the logo in Photoshop and remove transparency color and change it to black. This worked, but the label still did not print right. The printer printed the logo, but it cut the label incorrectly. It would cut into the logo several millimeters in on both sides, chopping off part of the logo. I again had to edit the file to add some additional space to each side of the picture. I am not a Photoshop guru, but have used it for many years. To get the logo to print right took a lot of work and time. I was unable to modify the logo image using the P-Touch Editor program despite having used it for years with other Brother labelers. In order to get the logo to print out correctly I had to modify the picture using Photoshop.Once I was finally able to get the logo to print right, the label quality was very poor. At first glance it looked okay. The color image was a little washed out, but within expectations range. I wasn't expecting it to be a high quality photo. The deal breaker for me was the label itself. The label is much thicker than I was expecting. Probably not quite the thickness of a band-aid you would place on your skin to cover a cut, but closer to it than the TZe tapes I normally use. The thickness is not really the deal breaker for me, but the fact that every label I have created curls at the edges when applied. You can forget placing the label on anything that is not perfectly flat. Even then good luck. For example, I placed a color label on my laptop screen which is perfectly flat. The surface area was cleaned before applying and the label and was very carefully applied. The label is curling at the edges and does not look nice. I have used several different tape sizes and curling happens on the tapes sizes I have used. I placed a logo on a retractable patch cable I have, and it came off in my laptop case the same day.Bottom line, even if you spend a ton of time on label design and get it to print out right, it will not likely stay on once you apply it to something.

I recently upgraded the firmware. It was complicated but the improvement is stunning. It works a lot better even iOS app almost perfect.I have many experiences with ZINK from many years back. No matter what it was a stunning achievement. Hoping in time that it would get better. It is better but not perfect yet. This is an affordable color label printer. The resolution is very high in my opinion. The typeface is smooth not jagged edged. The colors are nice and pleasing. It is not a replacement for a photo printer. I am using it on my iPhone XS with no problems. I would have preferred a Bluetooth 5.0 connection rather than WIFI as one has to switch to the Brother WIFI while using. One can set it up on a PC as well - have not tried yet. There are other color label printers out there but they are commercial use and are super expensive. ZINK sell this exact same printer under their name for several years now. I am hoping that Brother will help this product mature and get better with improved drivers and software. I think this a big deal for brother have this product. It makes it mainstream!Thank you both Brother and ZINK !!!
