This is a nice set of beads for casual or office attire. They are medium to large beads with the two large beads offset from center just enough to make them interesting. Although the beads do appear to be plastic, they don't feel cheap or flimsy. They have just enough weight to them to hold their shape and stay in place. In fact, while I wouldn't call the earrings heavy, they're not lightweight, either. They don't pull down your ears, but you know they're there. I have a couple sets of black beads, one longer and one shorter, and these beads set themselves apart from my other sets not only with their length, but also with their unique style. I wasn't sure how I would like the two, large, offset beads, but they stay in place easily, and they make the necklace interesting. The earrings are large enough to be noticed. The bracelet is strung on elastic. It's a little loose on my wrist, but I have small wrists, and it's not too loose to be problematic. I really like this set of beads, and I'm looking forward to working them into my wardrobe.
