I was very skeptical about these when they arrived. But I "counted" $154 in change in an hour and a half. They really work well.

Got this a few years ago, have used the paper wraps for coins but today was the first time I used the tubes. You're supposed to be able to fill a tube with the respective coin type, anything over the little slot is over the amount needed to fill a coin wrap. Was curious if the tubes were perfectly measured for the thickness of each coin. So counted out 40 quarters, put the in the tube - it was spot on. Same for dimes and nickels. And easy enough to work the paper wrapper inside the plastic tube to fill it. Our elementary age kids, 6 and 8, struggled a bit...little fingers...but they got it eventually).BUT just FYI, the slot on the red plastic tube for pennies is WRONG. I counted out 50 pennies and put them in the tube, backlit it using the flashlight on my phone, and marked it with a black marker (ended up putting blue tape instead to show where the slot should have been.) That difference may seem small but that additional space can accommodate 5 more pennies. And honestly, that's what started this snow day "rabbit hole" test in the first place. We trusted the tube at first but then when I put all the pennies from the coin tube into the wrap, there wasn't enough extra room at each end of the wrap to fold over...which led to dumping out rolled coins to count them manually.Interesting to note, while the kids were debating the importance of accuracy (8 year old claimed "it's just pennies!")...then our 16 year old came home from her after-school job as a cashier. We explained what was going on and she told the kids that after a really long day, the worst thing is counting down the cash drawer only to find the numbers on her register receipts and the money don't add up. Even if it's just a few cents, she has to recount the entire drawer again, then so does her manager....when it all could be due to a rolled tube of coins not being accurate. (The kids were totally fascinated by this real world explanation!).At least a good teaching moment! 1) Don't always trust things that make a task easier without testing it first. And 2) A little extra time on your part could make it easier for someone else.So kudos to the company for matching the tube colors with the paper coin wraps. But how can you NOT check 3's over to make sure the coin slot on each tube was properly placed before making thousands of these things?!

These worked better than expected. They were cheap, so I took a chance. The “coin funnels” saved me a ton of time rolling my own change. I recommend buying the pre-formed paper coin rolls, they worked a lot better than the flat ones.

Theese funnels can rough count coins quickly, but you should double check, (It's your money) as the count varies by a coin or so. Overall it saves a lot of work.

I love this!! When I received it I wrapped $116 in coins. It was fast but I had to count the coins going into the tubes. No big deal! It was easy turning it upside down and having the coins slide into the paper wrappers. Being a Canadian I wish the company made coin tubes for our loonies. I am very satisfied with this product.
