Have you ever wanted to make those really tight crimped paper rolls, like you get from the bank?

Well this tool will let you make them yourself!

But who wants to spend all day twist crimping the rolls by hand?!?! With is version of the crimping tool, you can now connect it to a drill (or powered screwdriver) and create perfect coin roll crimps in two seconds (It really is that fast!), tighter, neater, and smoother, than if you twist crimped them only by hand.

This crimping tool will enable you to create those nice tightly crimped and secure rolls that you would get from a bank. The crimping tool comes in the specific denomination colors specified by the ABA (American Banking Association)

Crimping Tool can be used both manually, attached to a drill (8mm), or a powered screwdriver (6mm). Adapters are included that can be inserted into the crimping tool that let it fit the situation. The adapters are interchangeable and removeable.

Ideal for:

  • Gifts for coin collectors
  • Identifying Coin Rolls at a distance
  • Organizing existing collections
  • Smaller sets of coins less than a full roll
  • Selling coins in more manageable set sizes
  • Make the look and feel of OBW rolls for any type of coin

The Zwango Crimping Tool works with:

  • Zwango Pre-Printed Paper coin rolls
  • Preformed crimped rolls (one of the ends are pre-crimped) [N.F. String & Sons]
  • Flat coin rolls meant for folding (but the ends may need to be trimmed to fit properly)
  • Your own home made paper rolls

It's hard to write a great review about these. They just didn't hold up well. I think they were made with a 3-D printer. So after a modest amount of use they stop working, the rolls don't crimp properly. They wear out faster than they should. Sorry, with they worked better, I have been using them! But a couple denominations no longer do their job.

These work great either by hand or with the drill attachment. There’s plenty of videos on how to use them so I won’t go into that part. I used them with preformed rolls, but did try them with flat wrappers ( quarter roll). They worked fine, but I had to trim the flat wrappers as they are too long. Why spend money on these if you’re using flat wrappers, just fold them over and be done. I have done about 60 rolls of coins with these so far. They are really best for the person who wraps a roll of coins occasionally for their self.

They work great! You don't need the drill attachment, just slip one on the end of a coin roll and give it a few turns. The results are a roll that looks professional and won't unravel or un fold.

This is the best one I have found. They are not cheap compared to others, but unbelievably easy to use. They include all denominations (even $1 and $0.50 coins), so one set is all you ever need! They work without any difficulty, and can even crimp flat wrappers easily, which is a big deal! You can get professionally crimped and wrapped coin rolls with the flat wrappers! The size is easy to handle by hand manually rolling them too! They include drill adapters, but I have not tested those yet. The other coin crimpers are really clumsy to handle, and cannot do flat wrappers properly. Sometimes the other ones can’t even do the preformed rolls too. Great buy; and highly recommend to coin collectors, and banks alike!

I have bought several crimpers in the past (from other vendors) and this kind are the worst I have comeacross, aside from the price (which are expensive) they don’t do the job. 1.- the drill attachment bit doesnot fit directly to a drill, unless you use a socket bit or have an adjustable drill. 2.- while turning (clockwiseor counter clockwise) crimper crushes the end/edge of the wrapper not securing the coins. 3.- there’s so muchSpace on the crimper (between the wrapper and coin space) it leaves a space on the wrapper that makes thecoins be loose, had to shave off some plastic (small part) on crimper. 4.- drill attachment, why!? Unless you haveHundreds of rolls to crimp (which I do) it just rips off (or damages) the wrapper paper. I could only provide picturesOf “wrapped” .50 halve dollars & quarters, took others to the bank b4 deciding to write review.
