We had several years worth of coins in a bottle . This coin separator make quick and easy work to package up the change. The coins fit perfectly, were easy to package in the coin wrappers. This is the perfect size for home use. Great value for the money...

Works good, the included wrappers are sturdy, only problem I had was with pennies and it only holding 48 instead of 50. Hence the 3 star rating. However, this is the second type of coin counter/roller “system” I’ve tried and they both only hold 48 pennies. So it’s not just this brand or whatever. I AM wrapping older, 1940’s-1960ish, “wheat” pennies so that may have something to do with it?!? Tho you would think as coins get used, they become thinner, meaning the roller would hold more than 50 not less….Regardless, if rolling older pennies, add 2 extra to the roll!

Well made, attractive, and functionally effective design. Especially at a ~$9 price point!Formed of thick plastic with well finished edges and corners. No residual plastic casting flash on edges. Has a slight “heft” to it, given its size.Looks attractive (not cheap) sitting out on my dark colored desktop. I just sort my day’s accumulated pocket change into it every night.Clear tubes attractively display the accumulating coins. And those tubes are securely held, but remove easily, for ‘pouring off’ the excess coins.Ample clearance to easily insert the paper coin wrappers down inside the plastic measuring tubes and over the coins therein. Coins stack on top of raised ‘pedestals’ inside their tubes, thereby allowing the paper coin wrappers to be slid all the way down over the stacked coins.Probably will buy a second one of these for my other location.

Perfect for rolling change that's laying around your home. We were going to spend more money on the electric ones, but this works great! The coins fit perfectly into the sturdy plastic tubes. Shake the coins a little, side to side, to slide the paper sleeve in and over the coins. Beware of the long video that is posted, as the user is filling a one dollar coin sleeve with quarters!! The exact amount of coins for the specified coin denomination will perfectly fit. The few rolls pictured took less than 10 minutes! The tubes fill quickly with your determination to cash in your own money! Happy sorting!

The first time I used this I loaded the cylinders then counted the coins to check the accuracy. Perfect. This device makes it easier and quicker to roll coins

This coin counter was clearly designed for American change but hastily adapted for Canadian change.1. It does not support Toonies ($2) but it does support pennies, which at this point for Canada are quite rare.2. Each coin cylinder fits coins large than it (i.e. quarters fit in the nickel cylinder) and the top plate funnel isn't large enough to dunk coins into it - you basically have to place coins one by one to prevent them from spilling out or getting jammed sideways in the cylinder3. Worst of all, the fill line for the cylinders isn't correct. The loonie cylinder holds one extra, the quarter and nickels hold two extra, and the dimes hold four extra. You will just have to subtract that many coins from the cylinder before you roll.Honestly, finding Canadian coinsorters is hard and this one does work and save you time, but it is poorly designed.

My husband and I used to keep change in jars but then had to count out the right amount to then put in paper bank rolls. I was telling a friend how dirty the job was (literally), and she recommended we get a coin counter. I bought this one because it seemed simple to use and not expensive. It works great. After collecting the correct amount for a roll, you just put the paper over the top of the section and the change slides right in. I do wish there wasn't the dollar coin section, which we never use, but it's not a big deal.

Sorter is nice and sturdy...tubes will click into place and can be removed by pulling them out. The tubes are also designed so extra coins will just slide off the top of the tube, so you don't have to count out the number of coins you need. The device came with a handful of paper wrappers, which fit cleanly into their respective tubes to gather up the coins. You can use basically any wrappers though (ones that are rolled at the bottom are best), so don't worry if you don't have enough of the wrappers that came with it to cover the coins you're rolling. The only thing that I find bothersome is how easy it is to overfill the tubes. The top of the tube is turned inward, so you can't see that you've already got enough coins in the tube if you're just going along sorting them. This inevitably results in you having to pull the tube out and having a few coins scatter. You can't fill them up TOO far though, so we're not talking coins going everywhere, but you may need to keep an eye open for one or two that might try to escape. This isn't really a problem if you're casually adding coins to the tubes...a couple pennies here, a quarter there...but if you're going through a treasure trove of coins, you may find it easier to just take the tubes out of the sorter...they will stand up on their own and are clearly marked so you know which is which.

Is an easy and practical thing to have. I don’t think would be helpful handling large amounts of coins.
