I have used this soap for over 20 years while I've been backpacking and I find there's no other better than Coleman's mounting soap. There's no smell so we don't have to worry about animals and the quality speaks for itself. I can use it for dishes for washing my body or even shampoo in my hair it's such a wonderful product that I will continue to use.In my j

This soap can be used to wash everything from your body and hair to dishes, etc. It does not have a strong fragrance which is a plus. One unpleasant part of camping for me is wet slimy bar soap. This solves that. I have been using this product for about 3 years. The container also floats if you bathe in a creek.

I specifically use this soap for fishing, after I get done putting on my waders, unloading the boat, messing with the rope, etc. I wash my hands with this soap and it does make a difference, one day I wasn't catching much fish like my brother was and he asked "did you wash your hands"? I said "no, I forgot", as soon as I did and I put a fresh worm on I started catching fish, I don't think it was a coincidence, so please keep making this soap, I would appreciate it and so will the other fisherman that find out this secret.

Die Coghlans Camping Seife ist ein gutes Universalprodukt. Ich habe bereits einige Outdoorseifen getestet, und habe diese auch schon "Zweckentfremdet" genutzt, also z.B. ein Outdoorduschgel um mal etwas Geschirr sauber zu machen oder Kleidung damit durchzuwaschen.Die Coghlans Seife hier wird vom Hersteller als "Universal-Seife" um damit duschen zu können, Geschirr waschen zu können oder Kleidung und Ausrüstung sauber zu machen und außerdem biologisch abbaubar (trotzdem sollte man es damit in der Natur natürlich nicht übertreiben und schon gar nicht seine Kleidung oder Geschirr in Bächen oder anderen Gewässern waschen oder auswaschen, das macht man in einiger Entfernung zum Gewässer in einer Waschschüssel o.ä.!).Außerdem ist sie um ca. die Hälfte günstiger als ein vergleichbares Produkt was ich vorher genutzt habe. Daher gibts von mir eine klare Empfehlung.

I am a frequent camper and find this product super handy for many things. It has no phosphates, etc. so completely biodegradable and thus friendly in the backcountry (Leave No Trace wise).1) Wash hands after going to the "bathroom" (vs. just using Purell)2) Use it to wash pots after cooking3) When extremely dirty, can take a sponge bath4) If cooking over a fire, put a light coat on the outside of pot so it is easier to clean after cookingRemember that despite having no phosphates, etc., do not use this directly in water sources. Dispose of at least 200 feet from water to comply with Leave No Trace principles.

After filleting Walleye and Northern Pike. This is hands down the best soap to use to remove any fish smell from your hands. I've tried numerous methods such as Lindy's fish soap, stainless steel stones, fast orange and even anti bacterial soaps. I keep one in my tackle box and one in the kitchen where I do most of my filleting.
