I put this mat under the espresso machine I got for Christmas, and it’s been surprisingly handy. It helps keep the machine from sliding around, which was a small but constant annoyance before. Plus, it does a great job catching drips from the steam wand—no more wiping down the counter every time I make a latte.What I really like is how quickly it absorbs moisture. I’ve had other mats that just let water sit on top, but this one actually soaks it up and dries pretty fast. It also looks nice sitting under the machine, blending in without that typical “kitchen mat” look.The first morning I used it, I didn’t even notice how well it worked until I went to clean up and realized… there was nothing to clean. No puddles, no streaks, just a dry, tidy counter. If you have an espresso machine or coffee setup and want to keep things neater, this mat is a simple but solid upgrade.

Buyer should know that the measurements are not exact. I ordered the 12x20 and it comes with a sticker on it that states due to hand cutting the measurements can be off by 0.04". Well, they're right, it's a 1/4 inch smaller. For this, I give them 4 stars. If they would make it a 1/4" larger than they would get 5 stars. Otherwise, this product is as described. I use them under my coffee pot, my Keurig and under my coffee syrups. They prevent my hutch from getting wet or sticky and they keep my coffee machines from slipping or moving around. I would buy again.

After decades of using dish towels laid out all over the counter to absorb any water while kitchen items dry, I finally found this gem. It has diamataceous earth that is very absorbing. Recommended!
