I like this coffee container, it looks very nice on my counter.It does not remove the air from the container, but it does not advertise in the listing that it should.I like the clear window on the side that you can see when you are getting low on supply.The date dial I found to be completely useless and I felt like that was not airtight so I opted for the plain black rubber plug on the top.The 1/8 cup scoop is super handy and I like you can store it on the side of the container if you want.This holds an 18 oz bag of ground coffee perfectly.Overall this looks good on my counter and it keeps my coffee secure.

I grabbed this coffee canister because my old bright-green one stuck out like a sore thumb in my black-and-steel kitchen setup. The matte black finish on this one fits in way better with my other appliances, and the tall slim shape saves me some counter space too. The see-through strip on the side is surprisingly handy—I love being able to eyeball how many beans I have left without popping the top every morning.Build-wise, I appreciate the stainless-steel interior and the tight-sealing latch, plus the scoop and its little holder are nice thoughtful touches. That said, the freshness date dial on the lid could use a redesign—it feels like it wants to pop out if you even look at it wrong. And while the seal is decent, I did notice that the viewing window might be a weak spot for keeping air out completely.Overall, I’m happy to have something better-looking and more functional than a taped-up coffee bag, but if you’re serious about max freshness, just know it’s not a true vacuum-seal vault. Good upgrade for daily brewing, though—especially if style points matter to you!

Very impressed with the quality of this coffee canister. I have one that is very similar, but this one is slightly taller and has a vertical viewing window on the side of the canister that allows me to see at a glance how much coffee (or whole coffee beans, in my case) is in the container without having to pop the lid to take a look. An additional thing I like is that the color of this canister (black) matches the color of my other kitchen-counter appliances. My older canister is a sea-foam green with a white lid and kind of stands out in a mismatch kind of way.One of the reasons I opted for this new cansiter is because there are a couple of things that these canisters have in common that I liked in the older canister. Both included scoop and a CO2-exhaust valve on the lid, and both also have a stainless-steel inner core. I love the build quality of this canister, and since my morning coffee routine is very important to me, I find it worth it to have a dedicated canister to keep my whole coffee beans as fresh as possible. (I freshly grind coffee beans each morning and brew my coffee using a French press.) Anyway, this is an excellent product, and I'm very pleased. If you're a coffee aficionado and take your morning brew seriously, you need to get one of these if you don't haved one already. I highly recommend!

I was not happy keeping a coffee bag with a tape on it so it will stay fresh so I ordered this canister. I really love it excellent size and it does provide air tight seal way better than me trying to tape the bag. It does have date tracking on the canister which I do not ever use and comes with a scoop. Almost entire thing is stainless steel easy to clean. Overall, it is a good find for me great value and the most importantly my coffee stays fresh.

I was looking forward to receiving this coffee canister to help clean up the appearance of the area in the kitchen where my coffee maker is. I usually end up with 3-4 bags of coffee laying around. The coffee canister arrived without any instructions inside or on the box, which wouldn't be such a big deal, but there were extra pieces that I wasn't sure how to install and whether it was an either/or situation for using some parts. I figured it out (I think), but instructions to clarify what the parts were for would have been nice. Also, the label on the "Day" indicator dial is misaligned (see photos), so it falls between two days instead of on an actual date. This is annoying to me and I may end up having to soak this part to get the label off and correct the alignment. Otherwise, the canister works ok. I do like the scoop holder on the side.

We had high hopes for this coffee canister based on its sleek design and thoughtful features, but unfortunately, it falls short in key areas that compromise its primary purpose, keeping coffee fresh.The inside of the canister is made of durable stainless steel, has a good seal, and includes a scoop for convenience, which is a nice touch, noting that the rubber on the scoop needs to be re-glued. We also appreciate the clear viewing window, which lets you easily monitor your coffee supply without opening the container.However, the internal plug, meant to help create an airtight seal, falls out far too easily as you close the container. Similarly, the date dialer, designed to help you track freshness, also pops out with minimal contact. These two flaws severely compromise the airtight integrity of the system. What appears on the surface to be a smart, well-designed storage solution ends up failing short where it matters most: preserving the freshness of your coffee.
