Overall I love this thing, wasnt to expensive, Im able to use it for drinks and food if need be, the smoke builds up nicely, and love the samples of flavors it comes with. The only reason I cant give it five stars i that the kit itself leaks out the smoke, I bough a weather strip kit and made a seal around the lid to hold in the smoke and now its perfect, not terribly big but with the gun and hose out be prepared to make space for it,

I had been wanting to try making smoked cocktails at home, as well as making smoked food. This little smoking device did not disappoint. It’s easy to use and worked great. Comes with a few flavors of wood chips. They’re sample size but it really doesn’t take much wood to produce lots of smoke so this will actually last awhile. I brought the Premium kit which includes a large cloche and two cocktail balls. The cocktail balls are cool, however i discovered that one of them had badly blown glass that made the straw inlet too small to take the straw. I wrote directly to Homia and they promptly wrote back. They asked for a pic of the issue and as soon as I sent that they put a replacement cocktail ball in the mail to me. The replacement is perfect. Great customer service! Because of that I definitely recommend this brand over the others.

I purchased this smoking gun because I had a wonderful smoked old fashioned at a great craft cocktail bar. While commenting to the bartender how much I liked the cherry smoke notes, he recommended this smoking gun from Homia. So I purchased it and was loving my smoked cocktails, cheeses, appetizers etc. at home for nearly a year! Then one day it stopped working. Upon inspection, I noticed that the batteries had leaked and damaged the battery cover, so even when I installed fresh batteries, the corroded battery cover would prevent the smoking gun from working. I contacted Homia in the hopes they would send me a new battery cover. They were very quick to respond and were extremely helpful and courteous. I provided them my mailing address and waited just a few days until my package arrived. I was expecting just a battery cover, but to my joyous surprise they sent me an entire new smoking gun! Talk about going above and beyond! It wasn't Homia's fault that the batteries leaked, yet instead of just sending a cover (which would have been nice enough of them), they sent me a whole smoking gun! WOW! It's hard to find a company that offers that level of customer service nowadays! I love my smoking gun and Homia! Buy this smoking gun! You will love it too!

I have been looking for a multi-use smoke gun to smoke whiskeys, bourbons, aged venison, hamburgers, etc. This Homia smoker is so easy to use. You unpack it, put the four batteries in the handle to create the vacuum, put the wood chips in, light them on fire and push the trigger. Whatever you have the hose attached to is where it directs the smoke. Something to take in consideration if you're doing it inside do it underneath the hood vent so the smoke smell does not get in your whole house, this is not from fault to the equipment it's just what happens with smoke. The value is decent, the design is easy to use, the weight is light, and it's versatile depending on the type of adapters you get. And the taste change with the food and alcohol depending on the wood chips you have. This set came with cherry, cottonwood, mesquite, and pear. Currently cherry wood and knob Creek whiskey is amazing.

Bought it over the recognized brand that was significantly more expensive. It works so well and really easy to use. My friends all love it and a few purchased it for their home. It's really fun to offer a smoked cocktail to guests. And the smoke flavor really gets into the drink. I thought about other options, but didn't really want to deal with having to keep a butane torch around. This has more parts to it, but much easier to use a lighter or a match. Plus, have the option to get the big glass dome and cold smoke cheese, meats or other foods.

I've loved cold smoking foods for years but this really brought it into everyday cooking/cocktails. Very easy to use and a great design that stands on it's own but can also be easily lifted off the base for emptying. I recommend adding the cloche (dome cover), some extra cocktail lids, and the bubble mixture for some added fun.
