This radar has been great at detecting it has saved us a few times! We have owned this radar for several years and it works great! We have bought the same one again for another vehicle. Really easy to use and set up. Great price and works great! If you don’t have one yet you need one!Also if your radar does not signal you when you see police it is because some police don’t have their radar on. It has detected police up to a mile away.

I tried this unit for several days but I passed several cops in my area that have speed traps and it didn't even detect themIt did however make noises when I was in grocery storesjust didn't feel comfortable thinking it was going to protect me from any tickets

This mf caught a cop pulling over somebody from over a mile away, you would think its a false alert but it’s either a cop on the other side of the road or under a tunnel or so

Detector didn't even pick up city radar inside of 50 yards pointing straight at me in City mode or Highway mode. Product isn't worth it I sent it back 3rd day and bought a Uniden DFR7 Super Long Range which I know will pick anything up at about a mile away and around corners. I went for the bargain and it didn't pay off, any detectors I buy now will always be Uniden I know they work extremely well.

I ordered these because I have a Uniden DFR9 radar detector that picks up signal 2 miles away and a lotof false signal from cars. I took trip to Florida with both on the dash the Uniden provide early warning.I then relied on the Cobra RAD 380 when it went off that's when I slow down. It doesn't have the range of the Uniden but cut down on the false alerts. I have a BMW X3M comp. and like to drive fast so both will stay on my dash. I don't have to slow so far away anymore.

It has saved me a lot of money from speeding tickets. I drive fast, very fast. It picks up radar guns from a great distance. I listen to my music loud, very loud, and I can hear it over my music. The suction cups work great. I bought a separate suction cup, in case the ones provided didn't work well. I sent back the unnecessary cup. Don't buy another suction cup. A waste of money.

My Valentine One finally went blammo. Started giving me seven, eight, nine readings everywhere. The new V1 is $600. This Cobra is just $100 and does the job quite well, though it doesn't tell you which direction the signal is coming from. It also doesn't have the idiotic menus of the higher priced models, which is a good thing. Do I really need to know whether Joe Bloe got a return at a particular location?The suction cup is pretty pathetic, but the velcro stuck to the rise at the center of the dash works just fine. I'm not even sure why I started using the suction cups at all.Worth every penny.
