This screen protector feels sturdy and was easy enough to put on as long as you line it up carefully. There were not bubbles to worry about and if you use the kit accessories you should be fine with application and dust removal. The touch sensitivity of the screen is not affected. My one and biggest complaint is the black rim around the protector and the cut out at the top. I must have thought the black rim was part of the application film but it does in fact remain on the screen. It is distracting and has square edges, where the inside electronic screen of the kindle is more rounded. The cut out at the top makes one think this is more of a universal screen protector than specifically for the kindle. Both of these features are unnecessary. It is already on my kindle so it will work for the time being and I assume cannot be returned. Disappointed but it does the job.

These are weird screen protectors. What is with the black band around the edges? I hate that. But the quality/clarity is good but the black band is so distracting unless you put these on and then cover with a skin.

This screen protector is the best of any I've used. Went right on, no bubbles, no dust no raised edges. Took all of a minute to put on my new 7 inch Paperwhite. Fit perfectly with just fitting right inside the rim of the Paperwhite. Easy to install and thicker screen protection that film. Love it!

The screen protector is made of tempered glass and once installed fits nicely over the screen. Some other reviewers have made note of the black edge that runs all around the protector but once in place, it simply blends in to the edge of the kindle and is not noticeable. The screen portion of the kindle remains the same and no text was cut off or anything like that. I gave it 4 stars only because the install instructions were a little confusing. It did go on with no bubbles or dust spots so I was pleased with that. Best of all you have a spare in the even you mess up the first one.

Overall, this is a good-value 2-pack screen protector for the Kindle Paperwhite that I recently got. It earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me.Once installed, the screen protector lines up fine with the Kindle's display, and the clarity doesn't seem affected. Also, the Kindle slid into the Moko case I had been using for it just as easily as without the screen protector...and the protector didn't budge as I was putting the Kindle into the case. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like there may be slightly more glare coming off the screen protector than without it; it's not really a problem or that noticeable for me, but pointing it out just in case you may be sensitive to something like that.There are really only 2 things I consider as negatives for this screen protector: - The black bezel seemed unnecessary, since the Kindle already has a black bezel, and the screen protector's bezel is darker, so you can see the parts of the Kindle bezel that are not covered by the screen protector. I initially noticed this immediately after installation, but it doesn't really stick out to me any more. Still, why do it at all? - The kit comes with tapes for installation guides. At least that's what I assumed they are for, because the instructions don't mention how to use them. I've used similar ones for screen protectors on smartphones, so I used them like that. The problem is that the adhesive on the tapes don't stick on the Kindle's caseback well, so they came off very easily and were pretty much useless. The good thing is that the Kindle has a slight lip around the front edge of the display, so I just used this as a guide to install the screen protector, and everything lined up well. (This is the main reason I'm dinging this product a full star, though.)At this time, after only a couple of weeks of using the cover, I can't speak to its durability or how well it would protect during a drop. I hope I never find out about the drop protection, but it feels better to have the screen protector than not, since I plan to bring this Kindle around with me a lot. As for durability, I'll update this review if anything negative happens with respect to that. For now, this is a product I recommend if you are looking for a screen protector for your current-model Kindle Paperwhite.

Tempered glass so much better and easier to install than the flexible plastic sheet I originally purchased. You won’t regret spending extra $$ on this.

My new Kindle arrived right before I had to go leave for a wedding. I wanted to take my new Kindle with me so I could read while I sat at the reception afterwards so I had to rush and put this screen protector on. I literally took it out and threw it on my screen with very little precision and I didn’t have to redo it once! No bubbles, no dust, no fuss at all! Easy peasy lemon squeezy. And it looks great! Fits well. Initially I wasn’t a fan of the black around the edges but with my case and everything on I honestly don’t even notice the black edges at all. The matte finish is perfect! Love these!
