I got the solid cherry to give as a Christmas gift. It is more beautiful than the photo depicts. The color is gorgeous. Lots of compartments for organizing. No shortcuts were taken on this chest. The only improvement I would make is put the drawers on brackets & rollers. But, I don't know, maybe its better without. No complaints with this chest.
