I used this for motorizing the z axis on a laser engraver. Slow, precision movement for millimeter adjustment. I used a 4 wire JST-XH connection and plugged it directly into the z axis slot on the board. Works perfectly.

When you get one that works it works well. The challenge is getting one that works. I would say they have very poor quality control. Don’t expect to get what you want in a hurry because you have to keep trying until you get one that works properly. But I kept at it until I have two that work right.

Decent little stepper motor slide, but the leadscrew can come detached from the motor pretty easily (had it disconnect itself when testing under its own power) other than that works well
