Floral putty is a sticky synthetic rubber product that allows you to adhere items that will be submerged in water for floral decor. I use it to hold my metal flower frogs in place in whatever glass or ceramic container I'm using. The product doesn't harden so it lasts for years. Simply pull off a bit depending on your needs and apply. I have the best luck when the items are dry, but the manufacturer says you can use it on wet items so experiment. I add the dry frog to the center of a dry container with the putty between. The putty is pressure sensitive so be sure good contact is made..Once I've ensured they are bonded, I add water and arrange away.The putty works on metal, glass, plastic, ceramic, pottery. You can use it to hold floral foam in place so no more squishing too-much floral foam into a too-small container. The pictures show arrangements I made last summer using a shallow, ceramic bowl with a flower frog held in place with floral putty. Keeping the frog in place Is crucial when using so many flowers and/or heavy blooms like hydrangeas. Floral putty is a great value and has so many uses.

I actually used this to seal an exterior cable going to a satellite dish. I definitely stays pliable, and was able to wrap around the cable and seal the penetration through the exterior wall. I tried using a grommet, but they was not sealing it enough. This putty seems to be the perfect fit for my needs.

I use this putty for securing flower frogs. It works perfectly. I don't know why floral putty is so hard to find. I was so relieved to see it being sold on Amazon.

Floral putty can be hard to find. I bought this floral putty from CML Supply and am happy that I did. The putty is malleable, strong and waterproof. Everything you would expect from it. I have primarily used it for holding floral frogs in place, but I could see using it in a variety of floral arranging situations. Overall it is a great product.

I bought these tall narrow metal containers from Amazon to use as tall flower pots. I also bought the tall green spike leaves from Amazon because I wanted to fill up the higher empty vacant space on both sides of my door. I used this florist sticky clay at the base, and it was tacky but not overly tacky where you couldn’t get it off your fingers. I almost went through 3 rolls of the sticky clay, but it was necessary in order for me to build up the small colorful flower design at the base of these pots. The small flowers at the base also came from Amazon. My tall flower pots have great color plus I sprayed them with a sun protector to ensure that the beautiful color will last a lot longer !
