Light works well, but the pre-dimpled holes were lacking. I was able to drill new holes and it worked fine, wiring was easy

For the money a very good value. I am a fire inspector for a fire department in Michigan and liked these emergency lighting because they are UL listed and comply with NFPA standards for emergency lighting. All be, I don't need those credentials for home use I am assured they where build to an industry standard and high quality. I've got one aiming at my electrical panel in the basement and one in my garage where my generator is stored and also plugged in for emergency power outage use. I didn't want to have to find a working flashlight when the power goes out to start the generator and throw the manual transfer switch to emergency power to power my home on generator power during an outage. The power never goes out with its nice out so also wanted the ability to refuel the generator without needing to hold a flashlight. Refueling should be done with the generator shut off. My garage is detached as well. Don't run generator in an attached garage either. You will die of CO poisoning...
