I have a 1999 Kawasaki Drifter. This book is ok, but the disassembly pictures don't look like my bike. Couldnt figure out how to replace the drive shaft boot without disassembling the whole rear end.

Not much to review on this. Clymer is known for having great repair manuals, and this one is no different. I ordered it because I bought a Vulcan 1500 and needed a more thorough manual than I got with the bike, and this is the perfect complement to that.

Known for high quality aftermarket manuals, this one is no exception. I bought a used 2003 Vulcan and the user handbook was in French. Realizing that there were a lot of items on the bike and other requirements that I had no idea about I knew Clymer was my best bet. Compared to the one I had for my 1983 Honda GL1100 this manual is even better. Great photos, clear explanations, tables, diagrams, you name it - there is nothing I can imagine coming across that is not covered. It even has a chapter covering tools and how to use them, awesome. If I ever get mechanically adventurous, again this book has my back. Both carburated and fuel injected models are covered in detail. I even found out what the actual model identifier for my bike was from the included table!The order was filled by a third party through Amazon and everything went without a hitch and the product arrived in excellent condition.
