Leaves a nice mark with a tracing wheel

I had come chalk tracing paper that did not make clear pattern tracing lines. This paper has the correct amount of wax to make clear, visible tracing lines. It is like the tracing paper that I used for many years

Just what I needed for my sashiko patterns

This is what you need if you are tracing out a pattern for sewing or embroidery. Rather than cutting out the original of a sewing pattern, I prefer to trace off onto other paper to preserve the original (and the other sizes included) and then use this to mark off the pattern onto my fabric. This is also perfect for making patterns from existing garments. The marks left on fabric fade a bit while sewing if you are pressing seams (steamy iron), but they also wash out when laundering your item. I’ve tried similar products that did NOT wash out completely, which could ruin all the time and energy put into a project - especially if you are dealing with a sheer or light-colored fabric. I cover the back with tape to prevent a tracing wheel from perforating the paper so I get multiple uses from one sheet.

Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Mi serviva per ricalcare un disegno su di una parete, è andata benissimo!

Easy to use and great for tracing my sewing patterns out. They work very well and they paper does not tear like the cheaper ones at the store.

Unlike most of the other users, I use this tracing paper when I am transferring a drawing into a painting. Normally, I will draw my portraits first and to make sure that I get the same results, I purchased these as it is hard to find "regular" tracing paper in multiple colors.I have not used this on fabric, so will be basing my review on using these tracing paper to trace onto a painted background with acrylic paints. These tracing papers are wonderful- they are bright in color and easy to use when placing an additional sheet on top and tracing over with a pen/ pencil/ paint brush handle. They are difficult to remove from the painted surface, but normally I am painting over the lines so that doesn't bother me all too much, but the package does say to remove with a cleaner and NOT use heat. I have used a hair dryer to dry my paint faster and the traced lines wouldn't even lighten! These tracing papers are similar to the wax based papers, but will rub off onto a canvas relatively easily similar to the chalky style tracing papers. The colors are vibrant and are constantly surprising me with how easy they are to manipulate and use. I have reused the same paper multiple times, and as long as the lines aren't in the same spot (the entire paper is technically one time use, but as long as I have a general line I'm am okay with this as the line will just have a few gaps that I will fill in when painting). If using these for a large project such as a pattern for an outfit or a large canvas, I can see these being slightly frustrating. The size is just a bit larger than standard printer paper, so they would need to be either taped together or moved consistently in order to get the full project complete.I have purchased these papers many times and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a smaller scale colored trace, as these are my consistent go to! Now that I know they are available on Amazon, I will definitely be returning to purchase time and time again!

I was really excited about using carbon paper on my big project (an elegant renaissance-style dress as well as two muslin ren-style shirts/blouses). I used the blue on the muslin, and it worked pretty well. I was glad not to have to cut the paper pattern pieces. Sadly, it seems only the blue works that well. I tried other colors and they just didn't do as well. Also, when I tried using it on the brocade (polyester), it barely showed up at all. It was particularly disappointing as that pattern had lots of markers to add. I used a mix of some of the blue carbon and marking pencils to try to get the marks I needed.I can't really recommend these. I'm sure there must be something better. I hope.

I do a lot of tracing of designs for embroidery, and I needed new 'carbon' paper for that. This stuff is awful. The crease that is caused by folding it into the packaging is impossible to smooth out. By pressing as hard as I could I barely was able to get any lines to show -- on a white piece of cloth! These colors are too light to be of much use as 'carbon' paper for tracing designs. Maybe they could be used for something else -- but if you want to trace designs on fabric using these, DO NOT BUY.

This is the best priced tracing paper that I have found that DOES contain wax. The marks do NOT rub off, which is a good thing when you don't want them to! I use for marking darts and stitching line on muslin, and tracing stitching lines on underlining. The only thing I wish is that these pages were bigger and the colors were a little bit darker.
