This product is convenient, especially with the included sticky tape and screws, but it’s not built for heavy-duty use. If you plan to extend it very far, like I did to 60 inches, you’ll definitely need the screws, and even then, it may not hold up well under weight.I used two of these at 60 inches, and one started bowing in the middle after hanging clothes on it. I ended up using hooks from the ceiling to support the sagging rod, which isn’t something I’ve ever had to do with thick curtain rods. If you’re planning to hang a lot or need a longer rod, I’d recommend going with a sturdier, thicker curtain rod instead.That said, these are convenient for light use or shorter extensions. Just keep in mind their limitations if you’re using them for anything more substantial.

Not durable or stron or a real tension rod for that matter. It's a bunch of pieces of pipe you screw together and doesn't add enough tension to hold

I have been using this tension rod to hold t-shirts and flannel and it has collapsed one time so far. Note that I am not screwing the holders in place. But for holding ~40 shirts without any screwing, this thing is pretty darn good. Easy to install and fits many different lengths.

I haven't written a review in a while but, I just received this tension rod and it is NOT I repeat NOT durable at all and once I installed it as instructed.... Then placed my clothes on the pole it broke right in the middle. I suggest if you want to use the rid for an ADULT - DONT!!! It will be more useful for a child's closet or shower curtain rod... SMH.. 😒
