Very nice spring to these clothes pins. Holds clothes as supposed to and also serves as chip bag close apparatus. I use clothes pins for papers so that I can write where to deliver. Easier.

Having a hard time finding durable clothespins. These are heavier than what I was able to find and were a decent price. I don't use these often but they are really nice to have when the dryer goes out. I have a drying rack which I use them on as you can fit more clothes on it with pins than without.

I like that they are bigger than others I've found, but they still have wimpy springs. I don't know what kind Grandma bought, but 20 years later, they still work way better than these.

My clothes dryer recently died and my husband and I can't afford to purchase a new one right now seeing that we are remodeling our house and our budget is really tight. I've been spoiled, but now I have no choice but to hang our laundry on the clothes line. So I dug out the clothes pins the husband had purchase from a dollar store 3 years ago. Oh the frustration! The darn things kept falling apart because of the cheap springs. I dealt with it for 2 days and thought how I do not want to be pulling my hair out all summer because of junkie clothespins. So I hopped on Amazon. It took me a while to find the right clothes pins for my needs. I did NOT want mini ones and they have to be heavy duty. And then I found these Clorox pins. Clorox has been a household name for decades so I assumed these would be exactly what I was looking for.I just got my clothespins in the mail today and tried them out. They are fantastic. They look and feel like the clothespins I remember since I was a kid. The wood is very durable, they are the traditional size, and the springs a heavy duty. I am so pleased. They will definitely make hanging laundry bearable. My only complaint was (not is) the price. I was hard to spend $5 on only 50 clothespins. I only have enough for one load. I should have purchased 2 packs, but $10 for 100 sounded pricey. Especially because of our tight budget. But then I think about how I could go to the dollar store and pay $2 and get junkie popping apart pins. So now that I see how amazing these Clorox clothespins are, i will be purchasing another pack this Friday. So I need to except and deal with inflation and take care of my precious pins. I will not leave them on the line to the elements or allow my husband or kids use them as chip clips. I will put them away when I'm done using them and make sure that they don't become chew toys for the dogs.If I take care of these beautiful, heavy duty perfect Clorox clothespins they could last quite a few years. So spending $5 for 50 clothespins in the long run is a great investment. Thank you Clorox!

So many of the clothes pins being sold out there are small or have weak springs (or both!) but these are larger, and have a nice strong spring. Definitely worth it! I don't leave mine outside so I can't speak to rust resistance.

As with all things, clothes pins have been “value engineered”. I still have a few clothespins from the 1980’s that are better than any I can buy today. The wood seems stronger, and the springs are beefier.Still, these are not quite as wimpy as another brand I tried.

If you're in the market for sturdy, reliable clothespins that can withstand the elements, Clorox Wood Clothespins are an excellent choice. These clothespins are made from high-quality wood and feature a heavy-duty spring that ensures a strong grip on your clothes, even in windy conditions. One of the standout features is their durability in adverse weather. I’ve put them to the test during rainstorms, and they’ve held up impressively well. Unlike other wooden clothespins that may warp or lose their grip after getting wet, these maintain their integrity even after repeated exposure to rain. Their strong construction means they won’t break or snap easily, even under pressure. The metal spring is rust-resistant, which is a crucial benefit if you’re hanging clothes outside during or after a storm. While some clothespins start to deteriorate after a few rainfalls, Clorox’s design seems to prevent this, ensuring long-term use even in unpredictable weather. In summary, Clorox Wood Clothespins are a durable, weather-resistant solution for those who need dependable performance in all conditions, especially in rain and storms. If you're looking for a product that can handle the elements without compromising quality, these are an excellent investment.

These are good old-school clothes pins, and are just like the ones I remember from my childhood. Sturdy and solid, they work great and and are more natural and look much better than plastic, at least to me. My mom also used them for closing chip bags, etc. and now I do, too.Now that I'm thinking about them, I recall how when I was a kid, a guy in my home town showed me how to take two of these apart and reassemble them into a 'gun' that would simultaneously light- and shoot- old-fashioned striker matches. It's a wonder I turned out ok.Anyway, good clothes pins at a decent price.
