I had a positive clamp on a battery maintainer get corroded from a bad battery. It would no longer clamp to the thin bladed terminal of a LiFePo4 battery. There was nothing wrong with the maintainer, so I got these to fix it. Works great again and these saved me from scrapping a perfectly good battery maintainer. I just used the pliers tip of my wire stripper to close the clasps. Looks like these would hold a 6ga (maybe 4ga) wire, but I was crimping to 16ga, so I had to squeeze the clasps pretty tight. Good price and they arrived quickly. I would get them again.

I got these to replace the alligator clips on a 4 amp charger that has corroded clips that are no longer serviceable. Comparing this clip to the one I had they are physically about the same size, the spring pressure is approximately the same but where they lack a little is in the thickness of the metal they are made of. It is about half as thick as what the old ones are, Being that these are not made of copper but something they call synthetic copper I believe that their rating of fifty amps may be a bit on the lofty side. I have a fifty amp charger and the clips on it are massive compared to these.
