I've got a number of sets of climbing sticks and the best way to judge them is whether or not you feel safe climbing them - with these, you do.At less than 2 lbs per stick, you can get really nice elevation without feeling like you are lugging the kitchen sink around.Assembly is simple enough if you read directions - the only real issue is making sure you have the brackets facing the right direction for storage.I did knock off a star because the plastic connectors linking them together for carrying can slide, which can be noisy, so you'll want to keep bungees with you to keep them locked together and minimize any clanging.

This is my first set of climbing sticks. The assembly was a little intimidating at first but the instructions were pretty clear. I will probably re-assemble and loc-tite the bolts eventually especially if any loosen up, but they seemed a good size to avoid any working their way out easily. The overall package is quite lightweight. The straps are not amazing but seem to be acceptable quality. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the setup.

They're very basic. Pretty light, and easy to pack up. A bit overpriced compared to the competition. My biggest issue is the standoff. The batwings should be about 1 inch deeper to keep your foot further from the tree. They probably did that to make them more compact but if you have large feet I would go with xop sticks. If you can get these on sale for around 80 bucks like I did, you can work with them. But not sure I'd pay 120.

These are some really awesome sticks. The aluminum build makes them light weight and easy to carry into the woods, and the price point helps me not worry about them possibly getting stolen.

Assembling these climbing sticks was easy. They are decently lightweight, making them suitable for mobile hunting. I practice using them because this is my first time using climbing sticks, and they work well for climbing up a tree. I would make sure the screws were tightened down well and maybe use lock-tight. Overall, I am very happy with these climbing sticks.

Lightweight aluminum makes them easy to carry for long treks in the woods. Every ounce adds up, and any weight that can be cut down matters. Anyone who says different is either younger than 20 or didn't walk to their blind. The instructions were very easy to read to assembly was a breeze. The included cinch straps are thicker and more durable than those found on other sticks that used which gives a much firmer grip and overall sense of safety when climbing.

I can't say enough good things about these climbing steps. They are a great tool during hunting season to quickly and safely get you up a tree and into a position to hunt. They pack up easily and are comfortable to transport. Very pleased! Thank you!
