My husband bought this to trim some trees in our yard. He said the following: "It does the job well. It is adjustable, but could use a little more adaptability. It's funny getting on, but once it's on, it is pretty comfortable. The connector loops for attaching to the tree are solid. The accessory loops are very handy. For only using it a few times each year, it is perfect for the price."

Good enough for a slight incline I’m dealing with near the mountainside. I have not and would not test it out on a cliff. I’ll spend more for the real thing if that were the case. This is good enough for your average Joe to help prevent slips or falls in places a few feet up too high for comfort. Easy to use and properly store. Recommend buying a Ring and other accessories to ascend/ descend.

Waist belt straps were hard to tighten for me. The lineman’s loops and main loop were flat steel. Steel isn’t the best for an aluminum carabiner.
