This was a Christmas present for my son and granddaughter who is 1. A great hiking carrier, bright color, and was extremely comfortable. We loved that is was safe for our granddaughter. We did 2 different hiking trails, the first one no problem. The 2nd hike when we strapped her in the clasp for the shoulder strap snapped off when we buckled her in. We were still able to use it but she did not have a shoulder strap on on 1 side.Unfortunately I only gave it 3 stars because the plastic strap broke on the 2nd use. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star. A bit disappointing. It probably was just a defect in the plastic.

Used it in the Austrian alps and it was very useful!!!! 10/10. Very light and comfortable, plus it folds very small and light for traveling. Totally recommended

You can't beat this for it price, it's sturdy, easy to clip baby in, straps are a bit of a hassle to adjust but means baby isnt getting out of them, light weight but takes so much pressure off your back.My little guy is just learning to walk so constantly wiggles his little legs, doesn't effect how you move or throw your center of balance off. We did roughly 9 miles of hiking in two days not once was baby sore, or fussy in it. Adjustable to your size which is perfect for my husband and I to switch who carries him.Plus the storage space holds bottles diapers clothes wipes and formula. Your good to go not matter how far you plan on going.

I love to take my foster baby for hikes to look for dogs. Dog was her first word. I am 62 and this is the way to go, no trouble caring a 25 pound baby on a 3 mile hike. I love the storage under the seat. I put in a blanket and treats for when we take a break. The bright green is a pretty color. I get lots of compliments. I do find that I need to place the carrier in the trunk of the car, or on a picnic table to be able to lift the carrier on my back, but that hasn't stopped us from using it. I use to have a front carrier and this one is so much better for my back, no back pain at all.

I'll keep this review short and sweet.Pros:- great price- nice bright color easily seen (I bought the green one) while hiking on roads and in the woods- incredible amount of storage- the sunshade is awesome! We're in Texas so it's a must have- lightweight- relatively comfortable for short hiking distance (under 5 miles) on flat terrainCons:- can't seem to get it adjusted adequately, which puts unneeded pressure and weight on my shoulders. I'm 5, 2" and weigh 125. My son weighs 27lbs. Even with the waist band shoulder straps as tight as I can get them, the pack still doesn't rest on my hips correctly and the rubber pad that covers the metal frame digs into my hip bones. I find myself leaning over way too much to keep the pressure off, and this is also the reason why I only use this pack once a week max. I'm usually pretty sore after a 4 mile hike wearing this.- the shoulder straps for the child have no padding. I did modifications of my own by taking some old ones off of a stroller my toddler outgrew and sewed them onto the straps.- the bar that lined up with my child's face is padded but not enough. My son usually falls asleep while I'm hiking but he can't lie his face against the bar in front of him because it's not padded enough. It seems like it would be, but it gets pretty bumpy and shaky back there when I'm trying to go uphill or pick up my pace. Poor kid looks like a bobble head.- no where for the child to put their feet. For my 2.5 yo, his legs are pretty long so they just dangle and eventually after an hour or so they start to get achy. If there were a small place for him to rest his feet on, that'd be awesome.Still giving this pack 4 stars. It's worth the price, I just wish the quality of design were a bit better.

I love this hiking carrier. It is great quality for the price and has cushions on the hips, shoulders and sides for yourself and for the baby. I do love the little backpack that comes with it, but the zipper broke :( I don't want to return it so I will just put a new and better zipper with it. If you are hiking for a while, then try to make sure the bottom of the carrier is all the way zipped up or the rubber that is on the bottom of the carrier will rub the back of your thigh raw. With the way the baby lays if sleep, they can lean forward, it the straps are tight enough or lean to the side, which is usually the caseMy little one falls asleep after about a half hour in there and seems to be very comfortable

Arrived right on time. I'd tried another carrier before buying this one and I can sa I'm very pleased with it. My soon to be 2 year old daughter fits in it perfectly and has fallen asleep a few times while being carried in it. It has a lot of support and fits both me (5'6") and my husband (6'2") comfortably. It does wear on your shoulders after wearing it for a while, but that's to be expected. So far the quality is holding up and I like that you can detach the sunvisor and rain guard. There is also a stand that can be folded up and down to make it easier to put the child in.
