This product was advertised and soldas Clearprint 1000H Drafting and Design Vellum. It is in fact drafting vellum, but not a Clearprint product!Clearprint Vellum has a watermark visible in the vellum as identification.It doesn’t erase as well leaving a shadow of the pencil mark in the paper and, has a more coarse feel and lighter weight to the paper. I don’t know what product it is, but it is noticeably inferior to Clearprint’s 1000H 16 pound traditional vellum.

Have been using Clearprint vellum for 30 years without problems. Now I’m having issues with brittleness. Had a project on the drafting table for a couple weeks and the edges tore at the slightest pressure and when it finally came off the board, the edges came off with the tape! What’s up with that?

This paper is on the thin side and creases easily in handling. Also had a roll with a defect in the paper where the paper/ fiber/ pigment was distorted and would have distorted drawn image when printing. Rolls go fast and 36" is constantly out of stock. If I had another choice, I would take it.

Takes pencil and or ink well. A bit pricey in small quantities, but that was all i needed for a small project. Would buy again.
