The ClearBlue pool ionizer hooks into your pool filtration system and releases microscopic mineral ions to the pool. This allows you to reduce the chlorine and other chemicals by up to 90%. The ClearBlue Ionizer costs less than a salt chlorinator and ClearBlue mineral pools are less effort to maintain than traditional chlorine or salt water pools. This allows the chlorine in the water to work more effectively, so you can safely reduce the concentration to 0.5 ppm - 0.6 ppm from the 1 ppm - 3 ppm that is recommended with chlorine or salt alone.
