A couple windows leak on my jeep (what jeep doesn't leak?) and I needed these for while camping so I can still see through them. They are great that way, but one got a small tear in it on the first use, so they aren't a thick or as strong as your typical tarp. Still love them though.

These “light thickness” transparent tarps are a great solution for temporary wind and rain shields in your outdoor areas. I use them to shield outdoor living spaces from the rain. However these are not made from a heavy material. For the cost, you get what you pay for. But don’t expect these to weather the outdoors in stronger winds. They are not made for those applications. Transparent tarps for commercial or more permanent applications are made of a much thicker poly and the price you pay will reflect that. I see comments regarding how they have torn easily. Yes, I expect if you put these up in a windy area where they are not made to be they will tear. But in a metro area where there is shelter from the wind or if you are looking for a temporary shield from rain, without the expectation of a long life, they can work. I bought a number to enclose 100’ of a lower level deck area used for outdoor living. I hang them on hooks tie them together on the side grommets and tie weight to the bottom grommets. But I don’t leave them up for any longer than I need too. Just when I have family visiting and it’s raining when we want to be outdoors. Other than temporary use, I fold them up and store them away. For my needs they work fine. But I also have a reasonable expectation of the durability and these are not for any application that needs to withstand strong wings or to be used as a permanent wall screen.

Was not very strong for any type of wind, as it pulled out of the edging that surrounds the vinyl. so now one side is not attached to the edging where the grommets are.

This was purchased to cover an outdoor table during the winter. I wanted clear so that I could keep an eye on any mold that might be forming on the wood. Given the light work this is doing, I expect it will last from you to year so long as I take care of removing the cord from the grommets.

Now my girls can see the sun and not be in the dreary darkness from regular tarps. I`m very pleased with the clear but wish they had more grommets to fasten with. Christina

I ordered (2) of these 7x8 tarp. I unfolded both and was not happy to see two Unsown areas on one of the two. I hung the torn tarp just to show where the areas are. I cant use the bad one. The other tarp is ok.
