The middle piece that the tape slides onto will not stay in place. In addition the cutting edge is sharp.

The cute small animal tape duspenser is difficult to cut on the tape dispenser cutter and the tape holder does not hold the tape in place too well. The part that keeps the tape on and spins constantly comes off especially when trying to get a piece of tape to use. Annoying and not time efficient. I like that the tape dispenser is made of wood and is cute also it does not take up much space. However I do not have much use for tools that do not work well. Or tape that does not secure a piece of paper or stick to the paper well. Cuteness only gets something so far, quality and functionable will outdo cuteness any day. I would not buy this again or give it to anyone as an office supply. I believe it would have been more profitable for the creators to spend more funds on better quality and more precise interacting parts such as keeping the tape roller snug so it does not pop out at the smallest , most gentle movement of the tape holder. It is helpful to keep in mind that substance feeds quality and quality feeds profits.so spending a few more coins on better quality will improve functioning and that increases profits. Some companies figure do it cheaper people will buy it because it is cute however that just is not enough and feels such a waste overall.so then people keep your money for quality tools and products. This is NOT one of those tools. Consider it a superficial low quality wanna-be tool. If that is your thing then fine, I believe most of us want substantial. I know I do. This rates .2 out of 5 That is point 2 out of 5. Does not even make it to a whole number. Now that is painful for all.

Purchased for my 7 yr old grandson and it’s difficult for him to use. Thought it would work for little hands, but the tape must be precisely in the middle of the cutting edge. The adults were having a hard time getting it correct. Cute design and price was very reasonable. Thought it would be a great white elephant gift, but rethought the idea after a trial run.

This tape dispenser is very light and has to be held to pull the tape off.It’s cheaply made but makes a cute desk accessory.

Although the squirrel shape is cute, the holder is very lightweight and you have to use two hands to get the tape off. It needs to be larger and heavier.

It's super cute but very light weight so you have to pick it up and hold it firmly to cut the tape but sitting on the desk its cut just not practical if you use it a lot.,
