Advertised as 2.1 liters and came 1.9L perhaps if you fill to rim it’s 1.9L. Beautiful pot. The handles have indents in them and this glass is very slippery

My simmer pot arrived broken. It is pretty but can't use it so tossed it out. It's so fragile I wouldn't think it would last long anyway. Please beware.

This is the perfect pot! We love it for boiling nice smelling things like cinnamon sticks and cranberries in the winter. Could also use it for really anything!

I actually didn't buy this to cook in, I bought it to simmer aromatics in. I have fond memories of visiting my grandmother during the winter in the 80s and early 90s. She would always have a small pot of dried herbs and fruits simmering on her stove, filling her house with an inviting smell. As an adult, I've also learned the benefits of boiling water to release moisture into the air in an effort to keep nasal passages moist during the winter. When I started making my own simmer pots, I knew I wanted a pot specifically for this purpose rather than using my regular cookware. This little glass pot has been the perfect option and I have it going at least 1-2 times a week ever since the pot arrived. I love how the handles stay cool even when the pot is hot. Because it is a glass pot (and not a material like Pyrex), it's VERY important to make sure you add warm water to the pot as opposed to cold water and heat it slowly to avoid having it shatter from the quick increase in temperature.

This is exactly what I wanted- clean with a glass lid too. However, I have used it and the smaller version , being very careful to keep the heat very low and the pot cracked whilst on the stovetop full of soup which I had to discard.I have not used this or the smaller one since then.

Once I began making my own organic syrups, like black elderberry, ginger, & root beer, I became concerned that my stainless steel & cast iron pots were probably not the smartest way to long simmer things I intended to be used as healthy tonics & alternative medicinals. After reading reviews for many different borosilicate glass pots, one of the main drawbacks I read were people complaining of pots that cracked upon use. But...I needed a pot asap, so I choose this one, fingers crossed. I'm pretty much ecstatic how well it's worked out.All I can really say is USE THESE POTS WISELY...meaning, begin heating your pot & ingredients on a very low setting if they are cold to start, then only crank up the heat once the food inside is sufficient warm/hot enough to not cause a catastrophic event. After making root beer syrup last night, as I went to take the hot pot off the stove using cumbersome pot holders to begin straining it, I realized that the handles WERE NOT HOT in the slightest... something I never even thought to attempt.Personally, I like borosilicate glass. This pot cleans beautifully by hand, dries shiny pristine without streaks, is very pleasing to the eye, and most likely a good match for any kitchen scientist who understands that good practice & following instructions isthe key to best results.I'm currently saving to get the largest one I can find for my next batch of 12 hour simmered organic chicken (bone) broth. I expect it will be the healthiest I've ever made.

Was waiting for the pot and excited to open the package as soon as I received the package. When unwrapping the packing material to find out one of the pot handles was broken, it was disappointing.I am returning the pot.

So far used this to simmer some water. I was very careful to follow instructions as I was scared I would shock the glass, but had no issues. Was able to bring water to a gentle boil over low-medium heat, confirming that this is most likely borosilicate glass as they claim, and can withstand some temperature change. Very pretty little pot, will be great for simmering herbal teas on low heat, and looks great as decor.
