Second time buying, first time for this brand but they worked as good as my previous brand, for a cheaper price. Sweet!

No more small clay bars! -- or so, that's the promise. After washing the car earlier, I took some extra time to do a "clay" cleaning before waxing. The end result is that these towels do work ... mostly.Compared to using conventional clay bars, it didn't pull up all of the deposits, but it did do the majority. However, the biggest benefit came in the time savings. The last time I did a full clay bar cleaning on my car, it took me an hour and a half. Using this towel, I was done in a half hour.Getting 90% of the results in a third of the time is an excellent return and certainly helps tilt the favor for a DIY-er to get professional results without shelling out a lot of time or $$$ for a full wash/clay/wax detail job at a car wash. 5 stars.

Been self-caring for my vehicles since the days when all you needed was a tin of No. 7 Polishing Compound and a can of Rain Dance wax to get that showroom shine. Today, it is not so simple but still a great way to spend a weekend afternoon with a young man (or lady) in this ever more hectic world.Clay bars are a great tool to remove contaminants from your vehicle’s paint without damaging the finish. Clay towels provide all the same benefits as clay bars but are much easier to use – particularly for the novice or weekend driveway warrior. They are generally much more economical too. But like any tool, you need to use it correctly or you run the risk of doing harm. Since this is a product review and not a detailing class, if you are new to using clay on your vehicles spend some time reviewing YouTube or other online resources to learn the correct techniques. At 12 inches x 12 inches square these Toldatli Brand clay towels are a good size – large enough to be efficient yet small enough to control. The clay side of the towel is every bit as tacky as the more expensive, name brand ones I have used and appears to be well bonded to the microfiber substrate of the towel. Somewhat heavy for its size but not obnoxiously so and this sort of goes with the territory with clay towels as the synthetic clay is heavier than cloth.Unfortunately, winter has settled in to the Midwest and shows no sign of letting up anytime soon - it is 8 degrees here as I type this and projected to be colder tomorrow. Since I don’t have the luxury of a heated garage or shop, I cannot give this towel a real world test drive just yet. Rest assured as soon as the weather improves, I will give it a try and update this review accordingly.Based solely upon appearance and touch, this towel is a cut above the average. Therefore, to me it is appropriate to set this at four stars pending an update. Once I have used it a couple of times under real-world conditions, I will return and revise this review if it warrants an increase or decrease in the rating.DISCLAIMER: I am a member of the Amazon Vine program. This means that I receive some products free of charge to use and review. I only request/accept items I will actually use. My reviews are based on this real-world usage – they are not mere regurgitations of the Amazon product description or insincere hype. I am not a shill and I do not consider the fact that an item was provided without charge as part of my ratings. I have given Vine products one star, five stars, and all points in between. A defective, incomplete, dangerous, or fraudulently described item gets 1 star (zero is not an option), a below average product 2, and an average product 3. You have to earn a 4 or 5 star rating. I put serious effort into my reviews and they represent my honest, hands-on opinion of the product. My hope it they will help you make an informed, educated choice whether or not a product is right for your needs.

I've used a couple of clay towels from the Chem Bros over the years and have grown to love them as a supplement to an actual clay bar. They get more area is less time, but a little less effectively. The larger size of these towels means that I can work a little faster! They do have a chemical smell, but that's to be expected between the microfiber (made from plastic) and the clay layer (clay with chemical bonding to the towel). So, don't let that scare you off immediately after opening it.I did my headlights and bumper over the weekend and already swear by these as an intermediate between a quick wash and a full detail/wax/clay day!

These detail clay towels work excellent and faster than a clay bar.Store in a ziploc bag to keep clean and away from high temps to prevent sticking together.
