Good dart case but the flights keep falling out of their pockets

I highly recommend not storing your dart case on the front hood of you vehicle, though if you do this case will take a extreme beating and protect everything inside. Hit the road after flying off the car at 70 mph and only had a damaged zipper and once scuff spot on the corner where it hit. 2 sets of darts and tips/tubes inside were completely unharmed. Case itself is still in great shape to continue to use with a little more 'character'. It will also catch wind pretty well at that speed - can't beat the case

Great little 2 set dart case. It's big, but compact enough to to take to the pub/bar without looking (lack of a better word) douchie. I guess showy would've worked. Soft case outer with two hard trays (not removable) on each side once opened. Middle divided is padded, has one big Velcro pocket taking up entire divider space. On the one exterior side of divider are four pockets for flights, and the other side is a half pocket. A star reduction in my mind where for the two square tubes that go one ether side. They are rather cheap and I can't see them lasting long. But all and all, great case!

Can keep the flights on without damage - holds 4 sets if you alternate them. As well, you can store many shafts, flights, and barrels. Compact for carrying.

Having been away from darts for 15 years or so, Ive recently renewed my interest in the game. My old Accudart pros and other darts had dissapeared, and I decided to gear up with new. Since I throw "pinball" darts, as well as steel tips, I was looking for a case to accommodate both, but didn't want a briefcase type carrier. This caught my eye on Amazon and really fits the bill. This is essentially two identical plastic trays, with soft foam inserts to hold the darts, bound book-style into a heavy nylon cover. The construction appears to be very sound, the zipper fully functional, and the capacity is much more than described. I can easily store four sets of darts, head-to-toe and layered, with flights attached, with no problem. The plastic tubes provide secure storage for tips, shafts, o-rings, and additional goodies. I use one of them to store Condor shaft/flights (slim) stacked end-to-end. There are plenty of pockets for additional flights and the center compartment, with its full length Velcro closure, is great for extras. A round sharpener fits nicely between the end of a tube and the wall of the tray. The only flaw I've found is that the foam used to secure the darts in the trays does not always hold my slim-barreled darts tightly, even when not layered two-deep, and there is occasionally a loose dart when opening the case. No big deal, really. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this case without pause.

I'm a 2nd year dart player. I've been involved in competitive sports and hobbies my whole life and appreciate good equipment that works. So in this case I'm carrying 2 sets of steel tip darts (flights attached w/o being bent or folded), 8 sets of extra flights, 4 extra spinner shafts, 25 o-rings, small dry erase marker (in case the bar runs out, it happens), and I can fit an extra e-cigarette in there (bonus!!). I took out the 2 plastic storage cases because I don't need them. They will be nice for carrying soft tip supplies though. The velcro strip seems to have been improved, it seems strong to me and I don't think anything will fall out. Not sure what else to say except that I'm excited about using this case this coming dart season.Soon to be Dart Master!!

I purchased this case in July of 2011. The case is fairly compact and holds two complete sets of darts without having to remove the flights every night. The problems are with the accessory compartments. The center pocket secures on the top with Velcro to keep your accessories from coming out. The bottom of this same compartment is not sealed though and items can slip through and end up between the dart compartments and the outer nylon shell of the case! The pockets sewn on to the outside of this center pocket work fine if the case is fairly full...pressure alone keeps items secure. When the case is not full, Items will slip out of these pockets.Lastly, the storage tubes are a great idea for carrying extra tips. The tubes are long and squared off which keeps the tubes from rolling away if left on the table. The problem is that the plastic lids occasionally come off when the case is transported. This results in tips all over the dart case. The design would be better if these tubes were squared off with a rounded, screw top lid.Overall, not a bad case, but it could use a bit of improvement.

I had a Metroline Jr. Split Back dart case for years before it was recently lost. I bought this product because it has the same form factor and the price seemed right. Here are a few observations that were not apparent to me from the picture or description provided:1. The two plastic storage tubes are squared, which helps prevent them from rolling around. They are almost as tall as the case so you won't get anything else in those smaller compartments when the tubes are inserted.2. The center divider has 4 pockets on the left side (each the right size for standard flights) and 1 pocket on the right side. The divider also opens in the middle to serve as another pocket. This middle section is secured by velcro strips but they don't quite go the whole length of the opening so small items such as coins may fall out.3. The foam that holds the darts seems softer than the material in the Metroline Jr. case but it still holds the darts securely enough. I was able to comfortably insert two sets of darts with medium length shafts and flights still on. If you use extra long shafts or points, they may not fit well.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this case and strongly recommend it.
