Bought for retrieving ducks on small ponds. Floats well and seems durable so far

I'm a big guy, and this one works great for my size. 6'1" 250 lbs. So if you need one for a larger structure, this is it.

I have no complaints accept the valve on the back rest it’s hard to deflate and there should be a beer holder on it

No need to wade out in the water and cast than walk back to shore all wet. Now I fish all around the lake. Just before dark I drop my line down way out in the middle of the lake further off shore than I could ever cast! Next I let my line spool out tell I'm back on shore and I set in my lawn chair and fish two poles at night and my baits way out in deep water ten times further out than I could ever cast! This inflatable is a snap to assemble and very sturdy and easy to maneuver. A.K.A Fishinrod

This is my first fishing float tube and I am ecstatic. I am SOOOO glad I bought this giant that holds my 300lbs slender body. There are so many pockets at each side of the tube, the back rest also has a giant storage bag that can be accessible buy a simple body twist. I will be strapping a PVC rod holder and adding slings to the D-rings attached. Shore fishing is damn borring to me now. It takes about 5 minutes to inflate with an electronic mattress pump. You will most definetly need waders, thin layer of clothing to wear inside the wader to stay warm and fins are a must.I only wish the manufacturer had sown the seat about 4 inches forward.

I have been an advocate of belly-boats for decades. I have worn neoprene hip waders and fished when it was snowing. I have observed nature and experienced the soul calming effects while floating on jet ski free, otter filled forgotten waters. These boats are easy to navigate, offer storage, and are lightweight to be lifted over fences and carried across cow pastures to where the good fishing is. This is a mode of fishing, that when shared with friends, and children, will make life long memories.. P.S. remember the Vienna sausages and crackers, it is going to be a long day on the water.

Id have to say I am more than happy with this tube. I would definately buy it again if anything ever happens to mine, Easy to get together and blow up. With regards to other reviews it does not take all day to air down the tube. Had mine aired out and back in the box in 15 min. Very comfortable to sit in for hours, lot sof storage. The only thing I noticed that could get changed is the material on the seat. With neoprene waders on it feels a bit slippery sitting on the nylon seat. maybe if it had some kind of anti slip would be better. Other than that I had no other issue, excellent buy.

It's nice to have some extra roominess, and this tube provides that. Being up out of the water a bit more is also a nice feature in that it allows you to move a bit faster than in a tube where you are sitting deeper in the water. The Problems: The marketing picture on this tube is deceptive (not only on this site but others). It shows that there are bungee cord connections that clip on to keep your stripping apron suspended above your lap; however this is not the case - there's only Velcro patches which IMO do not cut it! This is false advertising by the way :( This was the most irritating issue. The next most irritating issue is that the back rest bladder should be sown further back. When you pump this auxiliary bladder up to full, it pushes you forward into a more uncomfortable seating position; so in effect you must under-inflate this bladder to be comfortable in terms of a sitting position. The third most irritating thing about this design is they did not have a strap that goes between your legs (groin strap) connecting the spreader pole (on the apron) to your seat. This is helpful in that it creates a greater sense of security, and it will allow you to adjust your seat tilt for added comfort. Fourth issue is typical with these U-style float tubes. That is the spreader bar, which is integrated into the apron, is made out of 2 pieces of week PVC tubing with a wider short piece of PVC that couple the two halves together. This piece usually will eventually break. This is cheap on the manufacturer's part, and this can certainly easily be improved - and certainly can be done with little or no added cost.Other than these issues, again the tube is roomy, has lots of storage, you sit higher out of the water, and the tube should last 4-5 seasons of vigorous use before you will be looking at a replacement. Oh, one other gripe. One of the zipper strings pulled off already on my third use. No one should pay more than $125 for this tube based on quality of build, design omissions and design flaws.Ultimately I actually did the apron mod, beefed up the apron spreader pole, and sewed in a groin strap myself -- which was a hassle, but made the tube what it really should be in terms of a finished product.I've owned many float tubes over the years, and am a very experienced, avid float tube fisherman; so my final verdict: Could be great, but only reasonably decent out of the box (needs significant modifications to be great).Wade from Vancouver, B.C., Canada

This was received in good condition. Could use better instructions but wasn't hard to figure out, no leaks. Took it out. Had a blast. Comfy, easy to maneuver, love the easy access pockets. Only few downsides. Seat angle is a little off. And the lap table needs hooks instead of Velcro but nothing to serious. As for the guys complaining on slow to deflate, Get a reverse pump. Think smarter. :)I would recommend this over any others I have tried.
